From reading, looks like I am waiting on a third email with my Club ID in order to set up my account. How long does that third email usually take?

Normally I would wire funds the same day, but a series of events caused a week delay. Good to be done with that and now the waiting starts for the points to show up

They can’t close the contract until both buyer and seller get the paperwork in.

Sellers need to have their paperwork notarized so that can take time.

So, it’s all going to depend on how fast your sellers get everything completed.

So for this transaction I was the seller lol. Just got the closing email yesterday!

I haven’t been following this thread lately but I saw some people report on FB getting points just a week and less after recording. Based on ROFR timelines maybe they moved some agents from processing ROFR to processing transfers. That paired with it being a slower time of year.

I’ve seen that too. Wondered whether it has something to do with getting the contract transferred prior to the December blockout and/or with dues bills.

Regardless, just wish my seller would get his closing docs in. I’m 3 weeks post-ROFR and he still hasn’t gotten them in - apparently he sent them in but didn’t do it right so waiting for round 2 .

Thanks. Yeah, I’m with you. I honestly don’t care that much about getting the points loaded - will be more disappointed if we can’t close it in time for me to use my DGCs to pay the dues. But, I’m sure I’ll live either way.

I spoke too soon! Just got the email that my purchase finally closed and Disney was notified! Yahoo! I’ll post my full closing detail summary once the points load. Hope it takes as little time as it has for others recently!
