The international seller (Canada at least not overseas) didn’t send the docs right away, then they didn’t do them correctly and had to redo them - almost 4 weeks wasted! Of course I’m waiting to book at VGF!

Contract and points showed up 4/22. Contract may have been a day earlier - only checked in the AM.

My deed was recorded on 24th April and still not showing yet.

Looking at others above Deed recorded 21st April but showing 5th May.....

Our deed was recorded April 23 and we had the contract and points loaded on May 8.

I see that almost everyone gets their deed recorded within 1 day of closing. My closing was yesterday (5/12). When the deed gets recorded, does the buyer get notified via email or do I have to just keep refreshing the two sites here in Florida? Also, is there a time of day that the deeds generally get updated in their system?

Thank you for any information in advance, I’m still hopeful that I will have a day or two to spare on 350 expiring points at the end of May if the deed gets recorded today,

It will show up today or tomorrow at the latest if the title co actually sent it over for recording. You dont get notified you just have to keep searching your name.

Wish I could have figured out the spreadsheet but at least wanted to show timeline for closing..
We closed on April 24 and just 15 minutes ago received an email from DVC that our contract was finalized. I went into my account and my points are there! So 20 days from closing to points loaded.

I'm all over these boards but never really come to this Closing thread so disregard if this is something that's already been discussed but I just got my latest resale contract loaded and email received at 6 pm EST tonight. If I was a Las Vegas oddsmaker Sunday evening would be almost a million to one chance of the "when during the week will DVC load the contract" bets.

Is this normal? I'm super happy by the way and in no way complaining! But really shocked. Do they input the info in the computers on Friday and it takes their Commodore 64s that long to process it? Is the person in charge of the inputting looking for a reason to get away from their family for a while and head down to the office to get some work done before the week starts?

Surprised because when I casually asked MS about the timing (I was in a rush to use banked points) I was told not to expect anything over the weekend. And I know most places do not conduct business on Sundays and especially after 4 or 5. It's great tho! I'm just very curious. The inner workings of DVC are an enigma wrapped in a mystery!

Yeah Sunday is rare, I was surprised to when I was financing my first resale contract and Monera Financial approved me and was emailing me on a Saturday, I guess DVC is always cranking them out haha.

I never listen to what the broker says about how long ROFR takes or Disney and their 4-6 weeks processing membership time, it takes way less than that unless there's an issue for the most part, I hate canned responses.
