Closing Time!

For reference, I looked back at my 2 hhi resales in 2021 for this thread:
1st took 90 days (new member-feb to may)
2nd took 54 days (second uy-may to july)

I am now back with 2 akv resales in 2025 and still waiting! haha

I got an email from dvcclosing.com on 27 February with my resale contract deed attached. The contract is still not appearing on my dvc logon. This is now 12 days ago. I can’t check on the Florida comptroller link someone posted as won’t load for me. Can someone tell me how long this might take for my contract to appear on my Dvc account. I’m like everyone else here wanting to make a booking. I made the offer and it was accepted on 16 January 2025.

My broker said 14-21 days is typical for it to appear. Then 4-5 weeks total, so an additional 2ish weeks, for points to appear.

Thanks. This is a ridiculously archaic process in this day and age. It seems to vary greatly too. With my last resale contract late last year I was sent the deed by the closing company and within 3 days Disney had loaded my contract onto my dvc account.

Unfortunately it takes much much longer than that these days. 12 days is still well within the lower end of the timeframe.

For reals, once you close having to wait possibly another month is ridiculous especially with these bookings needing to be done so far ahead to get what you want. There should be a time limit on Disney's end to do things.

I was in yesterday and this morning! Maybe try clearing your cookies or using an incognito window?

It's back up like normal this morning so now I am deed stalking my GFV contract I tried Edge, Chrome and my phone last night and had no luck with any of them

A heads up that a contract that closed on 1/23 (I am seller) has still not transferred to the buyer.

I called Disney and they said the points are “pending transfer”.

Have others waited this long? Seems excessive. Did they get rid of a bunch of people in this department or something?
