Passed ROFR June 18th. It's end of day almost July 1 and still no closing docs for me the buyer. This isnt a slow seller this is 100% on the closing company. TRCS. I am LIVID.

Same here with TRCS and my AUL contract. Passed ROFR June 20th and haven't received the closing docs yet. Was told might take another 2 weeks. lol

Interesting anecdote today.

I had my most recent resale contract loaded onto my dashboard on Friday (see prior update). I don't specifically need the points for anything, but figured I'd get on the chat to see if I could get them loaded and suggested I might want to use them to make a reservation (they are Aulani and I don't have any other DVC trips planned until December, so it's always possible). For the first time ever, the CM didn't even put me "on hold" to "see what they could do". They actually said specifically that points are loaded in the order they are processed "in order to be fair to all members". End of chat.

Not sure if this was one CM going off-script, but it was a rather specific response suggesting that no amount of cajoling could get them to urge MA to load the points "earlier". Again, absolutely not my usual experience (I've purchased several dozen resale contracts over time), but I thought I'd share it on a slow Monday.

The only ones I’ve seen so far that have gotten the membership email before me are existing members. Since I’m a new member I assume that takes a little longer but I just passed the 11-7month window on when I want to use the points and so I’m a bit disappointed. The room I wanted went unavailable the day 7 month showed up

There is at least one that says new member that got theirs already. That being said being a new member or existing member to me should not make a difference in getting to a contract if they are going in the order it was received

Just called. Nothing in the system yet. I'm hoping that someone will try walking the reservation I want (since the 7 months was only 2 days ago and I want weekdays before a long weekend) and I'll be able to grab the 3 nights I want, but I'm still pretty bummed.

I'm in the same place. Our deed was recorded after yours, after a week delay in closing and I'm waiting not so patiently. Our UY is Aug and I am just watching the weeks go by of home resort priority. We don't really want to travel in the summer. I think we have another 10 days or so Hope you don't have to wait much longer

Congratulations! Very happy to see this saga is finally at an end. 95 days is crazy under any circumstances, but even worse when a month and a half of it was the seller dragging their feet (and most especially if they were hoping you would bail out so they could try to sell for a higher price after PVB jumped up). Kudos to you for digging in and getting the last laugh--and a great contract!
