So frustrated! Called member services last week in hopes to expedite the account creation given the time spent getting the sellers documents. Spoke to a nice cast member who suggested I call back today. I called today and spoke with a not so friendly cast member who told me account creation typically takes 6-8 weeks!!! Has anyone had it take that long? I know sometimes it takes longer than I am expecting but 2 months? That puts us into August!

I imagine that was just the outside window that they were telling you. I do think it's about 2-3 weeks from deed being recorded to account being created, if you kinda ballpark it based on the posts here. My deed was recorded May 12, account created on June 1. Others have been a tad faster.

We're existing members, our deed was recorded on 6/6 and it's not on my account yet. Same resort and use year. I'm getting a little anxious as I see others that had their deed recorded a day or two before ours and it is added to their account already. I am planning on taking my nieces, on their own trips, in August before they have to return to school, but I can't until it gets added to our account, along with the points. This is all on me, thinking that this would be all set by now. On another note, we just got our closing documents for our 2nd purchase in as many months.
