Has anyone used DVC Title at www.dvcclosings.com? I requested Fidelity to send my contract to Mason but they sent it here instead. Wondering if I should proceed or push back.

Under Florida real estate law you, as the buyer, have the right to select the title agent of your choice.

Totally understand that which is why I asked for Mason originally. I had just never heard of this company so before I asked for all docs to be redone and delay contract signing I wanted to ask the experts here

Yeah, I guess my point was you had a company you wanted to use, requested it, and they decided they weren’t going to honor that request. Now you’re “stuck” on here having to spend your own time vetting another title agent, when you specifically asked for Mason.

For those that have called to get their points loaded after they receive their DVC account emails, do I call the DVC member services number 800-800-9800? Most posts I’ve seen just say I called or use MDE chat. This is our first contract so I’m not super familiar with using the MDE chat for DVC questions either.

We are planning to travel to VB in SEP using points so I’m trying to speed things along if possible.

Go in the website and try the Chat feature. It took just a few minutes and I did it the morning after we received our welcome emails.
