Closing Time!

I am waiting for my ROFR to come back for PBV and am thinking if it passes we would close late Feb~early March. If I have my points in my account my mid March anyone think there will still be availability for a studio at the end of Sept?
Yeah - last year there was availability in SV and LV on most days at 6.5 months
 
Hi. Anyone got membership email from Disney recently .. esp whose contracts were closed last two weeks ?
 

Ouch ok.. so that means it’s. Long wait. First of my contract was closed last Tuesday (10th Jan), 2nd contract was sent on 11th Jan and 3rd contract was sent on 13th Jan 😅😅. Hoping you receive your points sooon!

Yes you will have a new membership number for the new UY, but you will be able to see everything together on your dashboard.
 
This might be an unrelated question, but does anyone know how points are distributed for the last year of the contract? If the ownership interest expires 1/31/57, and your use year is December, would you receive your last distribution of points in December of 2056 and then only have two months to use them?

If that’s the case, would it be prudent to always borrow the next year’s allotment of points so you do not lose the last year?

Yes, that is how it works. What we don’t know is what DVC will do in the last few years to account for this…they may suspend banking and borrowing.

There are other things they could do as well. We won’t know their thoughts until we get closed to 2042.
 
What a tease. Received email with activation code but the member ID is in a separate yet to be received email.
Oh wow! Drum rolls ….. well drums will keep rolling till the next email arrive 😂 - so hopefully mine should be round the corner as well.

At this time, I can see that one of the two sets of transfer documents has been provided to us for completion. Please reach out to the Title Company that completed the closing for a status on the documents for the second contract that you purchased. We will move forward as soon as possible with the first one in the mean time.

At this time, I can see that one of the two sets of transfer documents has been provided to us for completion. Please reach out to the Title Company that completed the closing for a status on the documents for the second contract that you purchased. We will move forward as soon as possible with the first one in the mean time.

I FWD the email to the title agent. No response yet.

Also, almost 24hrs later and no “Welcome Home” email. Gmail might have to file a restraining order because I am refreshing it so often.

This is not good for the heart! I’m sure your broker has nothing to do with it but no harm emailing him and ccing your title company agent as well (maybe add the Disney email address as cc too just so that they get a little nudge as well)
About gmail.. lol don’t worry I think they get these every other minute visits of checking email from DVC clients tons of times - I’m one of the impatient ones as well
