Oof no kidding!? Throwing good vibes your way! I suppose I should put my patient pants back on and just assume it'll take another week or two. Now if I could just stop compulsively checking my email....
 
Our 2nd Aulani contract still not showing on our membership, despite the deed recording on March 21st. Getting pretty annoying. Probably give it another few days before pestering DVC support?

Based on the combined experience of recent posters including myself, presumably the department that processes this at DVC is occupied with something else or they're running into IT issues?
 
Not letting me post because my prior post was deleted due to links or something, but deed has been recorded and now I'm just checking the website 8 times a day hoping it will come fast...anyone else?

Even pestering them wont help. For me there was an actual error that was made not just processing time taking a while and they still would not help me. Once the contract has loaded sometimes pestering them can get the points a bit quicker but really only saves about 1-2 days.

There's a slight difference in the way my 2 Aulani contracts were recorded, and I suspect that's a factor for us. So at some point it seems like we should be pestering DVC to get an update on the process, otherwise maybe the contract just sits in some purgatory indefinitely? We're totally in the dark at this point.

Yeah it's rather frustrating, MA wont talk to you. They will tell you to email. If you email you probably wont get a response. I called in tears because the error was that bad and MS felt sorry for me and talked to MA for me, but even at that point MA basically said you just have to wait.

The members admin email responded to me in 5 days the first time I had a question about my first contract and that is only because i expressed an interest in buying direct after my contract went thru. Any question shortly after that was answered once we had a conversation going. I didn't end up going through with it because I told my guide before I requested expediting that other conditions had to be met. They werent.

MS advised me that they should respond in 7 days or to contact quality assurance for any future inquiries. They also told me depending on what the situation is that you put in the subject line, they may be more willing to give an answer. I guarantee my subject line of "new member interested in potential direct purchase" was the only reason they responded to me in 5 days. My guide also got involved. I think putting "where are my points" wouldn't yield a response at all tbh.

For the time being since I have not decided to buy direct, Im pretty sure contacting quality assurance or member services will be just them telling me to wait and send any questions to members admin.

If my new contract doesnt load up in three weeks, i dont see anything wrong with asking when they estimate it will. They can answer that, they told me an exact date of when my contract should load when i was talking to them before and they werent going to expedite it, but whether they will or not depends who you get.

I had one person give me a canned response to my question and then I was surprised that another wrote back (after guide involvement) and was way more helpful and pushed it through 5 days after deed recording. My guide told me it helped to have friends in high places. They can do whatever they want. I won't even bother asking anything about this contract for now because I have nothing to say other than I wish it would go faster 🤣🤣

Some people have been getting their points 16 days after recording so that made me hopeful, but now I'm seeing some people it's taking much longer. It is what it is sadly.

I think I finally rattled enough cages that there is some movement on my contract. I can now see it listed in the Dues area. I got an email a bit ago from DVC Quality Assurance saying they'd gone over it all and it's all finalized now (whatever that means) with links to look at the Dues and Loans areas (no loan on it). So I checked the Dues link and it's listed YAY! It's nowhere else yet but at least it's in the system!

Ahhh there WAS a glitch! I got this an hour ago from my broker... "Disney initially rejected the transfer due to a perceived issue with the Warranty Deed. However, the deed was accurate, so we resubmitted it to them" (basically that happened at the end of last week based on the dates she gave me. So it might have just been dumb luck that things actually got moving today, but there WAS a holdup.

Thanks for the info! I just contacted quality assurance, who messaged members admin, and I got the canned response of 3-5 weeks for membership to show and 7-10 business days for points to load when getting my contract loaded wasn't even my question 🤣🤣
 
Welp, I managed to get member admin to give me a third waitlist for this BLT contract to help me secure getting what I want as I wait for this other contract.

Not as sweet as an expedited contract, but a kind gesture nonetheless that I appreciate. It won't help me book the full three weeks of vacation I need cuz i still need those points from second contract, but it does reassure me that I'm not fully missing out on something that might pop up.

The extremely kind agent told me that she is writing on this third waitlist that this waitlist is my #1 priority. I'm not really sure what that means or if that helps bump me in any way, but whatever she did I'm not touching it.
