This was our first resale contract and it was relatively quick and painless for significant savings. My first two contracts were purchased and deeded with my maiden name so I was nervous about this one getting added to the same membership. At the suggestion of another member I emailed member accounting after it was recorded and confirmed that I am the same person and would like it added to my existing membership. I also included the contract details and the date it was recorded. Thankfully they added it to my existing membership.

Thank you for asking! I was waiting to have a resolution to post an update, but it's looking more positive now! Fidelity has told me that they should be able to have the missing points transferred into my account. They mentioned they're working with a business partner for this. Hopefully this gets resolved soon!

I was kinda hoping for the $25/pt rental fee, but the next best outcome is certainly getting the points that were promised haha.

In case anyone was still curious on my case. Fidelity was taking too long to transfer me the points (almost 1.5 months since I pointed out they were missing), so I requested the $25/pt rental fee instead and they just paid me for the missing points! Very happy with that outcome, great rental price.

Light at the end of the resale timeline tunnel. I didn't get an email from DVC but when I logged into my dashboard my new resale contract was showing even though it's a different UY, but no points loaded yet.
