Closing Sent Regular Mail from Ontario Canada

The seller of my contract sent their closing papers back to Florida (***) Canadian Postal Service, regular mail.

Any idea how long this could take?

The closing date on my contract will most likely not be met.

I sent a letter 07/30 via Canada Post to NJ. It was received 08/05 (I just checked my FB messenger to verify dates).

Thanks for the encouragement. *** received the documents yesterday and now *** is waiting on agent to send the FIRTPA information (something to do with the contract being from a Canadian seller). Hopefully this will not take long and I will see the deed at OCC.

IYO, how long should I wait from the deed being registered until I start calling and hoping that I get the right person in accounting to give me my member number?

I don't have experience buying a resale so hope somebody else can tell you when you can try to get that member number!

On average a month from closing to being fully set up.
