closing question?

Hi

We were told on Monday via phone call (I called them not the other way around) that our contract has closed and the paperwork has been sent to Disney for the name change on the contract, set up of the account etc. Should I be recieving any kind of paperwork from the closing company for confirm or verify the closing? Or is their part done now?

I was wondering the same thing.. so I went on the Orange County website and you are able to download the deed itself and save it for your records. I am not sure of anything anymore with First American or Fidelity. I am on week 2 and still have not received anything.

If it has gone to closing to American Title and you have not heard anything call your broker at Fidelity, that is what I did and Shawn called the sellers for right off and got back to me the same day, I understand that at that point it is out of their hands as they have to wait for the seller.

At what point does it go to Orange county? if the paers were closed/passed on Monday when should i be able to see it at the Orange County website?

If your name on the deed is incorrect, you should contact the closing company and have the legal document corrected at their expense.
