Closing Date?

Quick question--just received the paperwork to sign and return to DVC for purchase of points at SSR--once we return these papers how long is it until we are officially DVC members?? I am just wondering how far it is going to be in December before I can start making reservations?? New to this forum and love it!

the closing date should be in your contract.

SSR seems to have different closing dates?

your contract also says the date that you can start making your reservations - this seems to change with the building?

We sent back our completed paperwork for our SSR purchase Thursday night, 10/30/03. The letter stating that our financing was approved was dated 11/4. We received the signed copies of our paperwork about 11/15 (letter dated 11/11). We were told that our closing would be May 1.

I guess I was a little confusing--I don't think we will actually close until the Spring....I guess I was more concerned with how long it took them to actually say you are DONE! Our paperwork indicates we can start making reservations Dec. 1st, but I was under the assumption that was contingent upon them having received all the paperwork etc. by Dec. 1st--of course they have already sent me my backpack, a member number and have my down payment!! I am going to be on the phone December 1st for sure--we fed exed the paperwork today....Thanks for all your help!
