Closing Costs Direct

Can anyone tell me what the closing costs would be on a direct contract at WDW of 50 points or less. I've heard the direct closing costs are lower than resale, but wondering how much lower. Does it vary by resort?

I know it's only somewhat helpful but yesterday we paid around 357 on a 25 point SSR direct contract April use year. When our guide sent us a virtual booklet on it, we were able to play with resorts and point amounts and the closing cost differed between resorts.

I think it varies by the amount of points you purchase and whether you are paying cash (25-49 points) or financing (50+points).

I was under the impression that SSR and OKW directs were a minimum 50 point contract. You got one at 25 points?

CCV and Riv are 50 point minimum no matter what. All the others are 25 min if paying cash, 50 if financing as far as I know

That's what I thought, but with things being so fluid right now (and some possibly inaccurate information from another unnamed site), I wasn't sure.

Yes, no problem with the SSR 25 point contract. We are blue card members already so I'm not sure if that is why we were able to purchase or if the 25 is also available for new members looking to start towards the blue card benefits. Under 50 points can only pay cash, 50 or above can finance.

I believe the minimum purchase for new members is 125 points, regardless of how you pay. I may be wrong, though.

Confirmed today: 125 minimum for new member direct purchase regardless of financing. All resorts.

Add-ons for existing members starting at 25 points. Above 50 points may be financed.
