closing cost

When I was speaking to a Guide, the issue of closing costs came up. It looks like buyers who want to break large contracts into smaller deeds won't have to pay significantly higher closing costs. For example, if you buy a 320-point contract, the closing costs are about $402.80. If the buyer breaks the contract into two 160-point contracts, the total closing costs go up only $3 to $405.80. For four 80-point contracts, the total closing costs would go up an additional $40 or so. The Guide also confirmed that closing costs are now passed on to the buyer on add-on purchases.

It's kinda of odd that the guide would say that at least compared to the one I correspond with. My guide NEVER says anything in emails that deals with price, costs or anything else like that. All she ever writes in emails is to give me her phone number to call.

I believe they are actually prohibited from providing this kind of information in email; as it could cost them their job. I am thinking this is fishy! :fish:

We added on 100 ponits at SSR. We have 250 points now. It was $99 per point and we Oct 2010 points(that is our UY).

10% down with closing cost was 1137.12. that would be $990 for down payment and $147.12 closing costs.

Has anyone bought since 3/20 besides me that paid closing costs. I rememeber the guide saying there is a smalling closing cost for the transactions but I was so excited my husband finely let me get more points I didn't even process that Disney used to pay for closing costs.

Yup we added on after 3/20 and paid closing cost. I didn't realize either at first that it was a new thing to pay closing for an add on. It's our first add on and I didn't know it was a new thing until I saw this thread.
