Closest gas station to fill up rental before airport?

Hi folks,

What's the closest place we can fill the tank before we drop off our rental car at MCO?

I use the one in front of the Super Target at the Orange Blossom Trail exit. It is the Hunters Creek Super Target you will exit from 417 on Orange Blossom Trai

I always fill up on Disney property and it stays "full" when I arrive at Airport. I have never been charged fuel charges.

We know our way around, so we usually buy gas at Costco (2101 Water Bridge Blvd). However, we've also used purchased gas at the Race Trac station on Sand Lake/McCoy (1875 McCoy Rd), which has good prices and just before MCO.

Last time there I filled up at the 7-11 on 528 & Tradeport. I then went down the north frontage road to skip the last toll on 528.

This is what I do also. I just top it off and when I get to the airport the gas gauge is still pegged on full.

The last few times we just topped off at the station near Board Walk, I saved the receipt but was never asked for it. Apparently with Dollar and Budget if the needle hits 'F' you're good.

The closest gas station to the airport if you are taking 417 back to the airport would be at the Landstar Blvd exit # 14. And the airport is at exit #17 so the gas station is less than ten miles from MCO. As you get off the highway turn right and there is a RaceTrac gas station about 1/2 mile down the road on the left side. This is where we always fill up before getting to MCO.

My own preference is the Wawa station that opened a year or two ago at Semoran and Lee Vista Blvd. Exit the Beachline at Semoran, then 1 mile north (i.e., away from the airport) to the Wawa. Fill up, then head the other way down Semoran which goes straight into the airport.

Wawa gas; 6500 S Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32822. Just down Semoran from the airport. Avoid the gas stations between the airport and Wawa - they are ridiculously expensive.

Just wanted to make this point clear!!! These two stations have been gouging customers for years.

If you go in via I-4, I think there's lots of options. Its if you go by the 528 (is that the newer road?) that I've had trouble finding a decent gas station at an exit where I didn't have to feed coins I didn't have into a toll booth.
