We are planning a Memorial Day Weekend Trip to DL. There will be 3 of us and each of us has a travel voucher to use from Delta. There will be no direct flights from PDX into the California area using Delta, so that is not a consideration. Airfare has been expensive and I am not sure what airfare might cost in May especially for a holiday weekend.
I found some fares that seem good and wanted to know about the Burbank airport. How big is the airport? How fare away from DL is the airport? Shuttle service available?
We have flown into LAX and SNA. We prefer SNA because of the smallness of the airport and proximity to DL. How does BUR compare to SNA?
Ticket prices into BUR and LAX are the same. Flight times are pretty much the same. Flying into SNA increases ticket prices by $55.50 per person.
From PDX we are looking at over $300 into SNA and $250 into LAX or BUR. I paid $215 into SNA for our November trip but ticket prices have gone up since then and we are talking a trip over Memorial Day Weekend. Should I wait to see if prices go down or just bite the bullet?
I would fly into BUR if it is a small airport and the transfer time doesn't take too long.
