We're here now at pop and I'm drinking the "new" jofrey's coffee. It's pretty bad folks! Lol. The hot chocolate is really good though. Same mugs- beach scene. (It's been raining since 1 pm :(. )

Sorry about the coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love hot chocolate. Sorry about the weather it has been really crapy this week. Hopefully it will get better.

Oh no!! Is it worse than the Nescafe or just a different shade of awful?

Boo!!! I was really hoping for some good coffee. I guess I will still bring my own.

Keep in mind everyone has different tastes. Some people love the nescafe. Some love*$, some loathe it. I'd bring your own, but give it a shot. Especially if you already have a mug with you.:-)

We're going to POR in THREE WEEKS (pause to catch my breath). We have the pool scene mugs and like others, I'm not really interested in getting another one (I DO like collecting them - I'm drinking out of my old Dixie Landings mug right now!). But what exactly is the cost of a single soda in a paper cup at the POR food court? All I've seen listed on the WDWInfo menus is the cost of the refillable mug?

We're driving and so we will stock our room fridge with Pepsi's (my wife drinks them instead of coffee - yuck), and water, and I'm planning on bringing extra pods for the coffee machine. But I was just wandering, would it still make sense to buy the mug - what is the break even point?

A soda was $2.39 in March at Saratoga Springs. I am pretty sure that coffee, tea and hot chocolate are the same.

Just got back. Contempo Cafe still has the same mugs. Price was higher than last year. $15.49

Really stupid question (we have not bought/used a mug since.... 1989;) since we are water drinkers) ......

What is the yellow clasp thingy?? I can't tell from the picture.

Thanks for not laughing at me !:flower3:

Its like a security tag it let's the CM at check out know you haven't paid for that mug yet. After purchase its removed so you won't be charged again.

Had the "new" coffee and will agree...blaaaa. I did not like the nescafe....but I really disliked the new one more!!! Was looking forward to the next trip without having to pack my VIA packets. Looks like a big NOT.

We'll be in the world in June and I've never had Jofrey's so I'm curious what you didn't like about it, too strong? Too weak? Or something else? Thanks!

I'm curious to see if although the brand has changed, but it is still the same coffee concentrate machines vs. fresh brewed. I suspect concentrate.

Nope. Joffreys, to my knowledge, doesn't use any concentrate

You can look them up, they have shops outside the parks, too.

Disclaimer: I haven't seen the new machines

I have had 2 mugs from the Polynesian I have had forever. I am heading back to the Polynesian in July. They have Minnie in a hammock and Mickey on a surf board; a coca-cola emblem and the bottom says patent pending. There isn't any writing on them. I would post a photo but don't know how.

Are these the lifetime mugs? Do you think I'd have an issue if I used them?

thanks.

No, they are not lifetime mugs. I bought the same in 1997 and they were not lifetime mugs. There were signs posted over the stack of mugs telling guests that they were good only for the length of the trip at that location.

Does anyone know if refills are always available at OKW? Or once food to go closes is it no more refills?
