Hello,

We have ASSP Mugs from 1998 and CBR Mugs from 1999 with nothing on them except the pictures and logos of the resorts.:thumbsup2 Can theese be used as forever Mugs at the Resorts for refills?:confused3

They are short and fat and the bottom comes off.

Should I post pics of them?

People asking about lifetime mugs...a poster here contacted Disney directly, you may want to do the same.

They seem to be a hot button issue here, bordering debate. The WDW people could reassure you if it was a lifetime mug.:)

Its a good idea :-) , I also think if someone could post IF the lifetime mugs have writing on them? and if so where can it be found and what does it say?
This Would be VERY helpful..
Since between my mother house, two sisters homes and my home, we have something like 13 mugs from those years they were sold..
I'm sure only maybe one or two are the life time.. But it would be nice to know where I can find the writing and what it says.. So I know which are which..

That way everyone can just check their mugs instead of bombarding disney with emails about mugs...

Here are the Pics I took.

As you can see, there is no writing on them except for resort and Coke ads.

Thank you.. VERY VERY much..
We have the music ones, like your sports only music!

You have to remember. Just because the mug did not have writing on it telling the guests the rules of the program didn't mean it was free refills for life. Every mug I have does not have the writing on it, but they did have signs posted over head that stated the mug was only good for the length of my stay at the resort that I bought it at. I have many, many mugs at home from 1997 until about 2004. Polynesian, WL, BC, GF, DVC-OKW, PO, AKL. Most of these have the removable bottom.

I do remember the post that they were lifetime mugs(back in the day), but we tend to go everyother year sowe use them as a souvenier for the kids....I do like the mugs and still use the older ones!...I do like how the newer ones fit in the car cupholders.....we did decide not to purchase on our trip at CBR-food court was too far away. this last trip at POP, 6 more cups(would have purchased even if we hadnt had FD).....Really hope they dont chip them, we filled them a lot-bit tea and cocoa drinkers!

We are staying at Kidani and my boyfriend is diabetic. I know there is a small refill station there, but don't remeber if there was unsweetened iced tea?

We Purchased our Mugs at our Resort, and carried them with us through-out the stay.......We stopped to rest at different Resorts to enjoy their food courts and play cards....We were SHOCKED to see people using Large McDonalds cups and Gas Station Mega Mugs at the drink station....I don't believe that Disney should go with the coded mugs, due to flaws in the system,,,but REALLY?......Big Gulp cups?....not nice.....

Most or all of the drink stations at the resorts have a Gold Peak Iced Tea dispenser, and you can expect one of the choices to be unsweetened.

Question about the mugs, booked a room and DDP through a CM without park tickets or anything so it is not considered a magic your way package. Are the refillable mugs still included?:confused3

Wow! How did you accomplish that? I thought the dining plan had to be part of a package that included theme park admission. Unless you are DVC or AP holder.

Wow, would love to add ddp w/o tickets thru Disney. The mug is included in the dinning plan.

Just have one member of your party buy an AP and book an AP package. No one in your room will have to purchase their tickets with the package.

Still know news if mugs are changing this year. We have 2 more months and would like new styles for a change.

I'm sorry. I'm new to this thread and hope for a simple answer as I don't have the time to scan 100+ pages.

On the FAQ section, I read that you can only refill your mug in the resort that it was bought? This is something they do not make you aware of or it must be in really fine print. As a matter of fact, on our trip a couple of years ago, we hopped to different resorts looking for different colors of mugs so we can all have different colors. The CM's did not have a problem with us buying a mug in one resort and refilling it in another... nor being from one resort and buying the mug at another knowing we would bring it back to our home resort. This rule seems ridiculous to me if it's even true. It seems absurd to me. If you buy the DDP and get the mug, what difference does it make to refill the mug where ever refills are available?
