CLOSED Sketch Swap Progress

I have closed the sign ups. Final numbers on listed for the groups that less than full.

I will be sending out my information to everyone soon. I have marked you orange if you checked your groups. Please still send me your information if you have not done so already. All my old PMs were deleted so I no longer have them from previous swaps.

I have started pulling papers and planning out my layouts so of course I HAD to go shopping for some needed items. Michaels has their printed paper .59 cent designs (not cardstock) on sale 4/1.00 and they have jolee's 3-d and Sticko brand stickers 40% off. Hobby Lobby has all of their single sheet paper 50% off. The patterned paper they sell is thin and flimsy though...so for this swap you'd have to mount it on top of a cardstock base if you are using it for the bottom 12x12 layer. I just wanted to share in case you needed to shop.

My groups are good!! I wanted to give you some of my titles also...

Group 1 - Minnie Mouse Moments

Group 2 - Under the Sea

Group 4 - When You Wish Upon a Star

Group 12 - I Hope You Dance

Group 17a - Where the Wild Things Are

sketch 47SD (Disney Colors) - Delightfully Disney

That's all I have for now...still thinking on the others!! Thanks again for everything and hosting this!

Here's a page I finished up this afternoon. It's for me, and I made one for Ann as her hostess gift. Sketch #17 SA. I had to use a photo mat spot as a journaling box since you can't journal on the hamster ball as the sketch wants you to. Also I flipped it around a bit since my clip art was "running" the other direction. I put a clear transparency on top of the hammy ball to make it look more realistic. I hope you like it Annie!

If you are doing this sketch...You know how we are suppossed to cut photo mats for the pictures. You can't cut 3 mats 4.25 x 4.25 for the vertical photo strip--so you'll need to just use 1 long piece of paper that the pictures can be mounted on top of. Mine has mats--only because I shortened the middle one to make a jouraling spot.

Tracy, That is hysterical! Love it. Ann was telling me how your family has adopted one of her surprise pets. What a great layout!

I LOVE IT!! It looks just like CowGirl.

That little stinker got out of her bin last night. Wyatt didn't put the lid on and she just hopped herself right out I guess. We keep it on the floor, so it wasn't too far of a hop. She had a good time for about an hour. Found her in the play room. Unfortunately she was behind things that I couldn't reach my hand and get her and bring her out. We got her ball and put it where she could see it. She came right out, sniffed at it and jumped right in. :)

Using the single strip there is a good way to show exactly where the photos go for that section of Sketch #17SA.

For Sketch #4SA and Sketch #4SB, that also can be just the strips as shown for the row of photos. On Sketch #12SC, you can modify that one so that is is a single strip for it's row of three photos.

Love the Hamster LO!!! Too funny!!!!

I wondered about the strips.. even though I'm not in this.. as I was doing my own LOs.

Adorable layout!

I was going to ask about that 4x4 strip, but hadn't gotten around to it ;) So, one 4x12 strip is fine?

Since it is meant for 4x4 photos, it should be 4-1/8 x 12. This gives it a little bit of a mat.

OMG the hamster sketch is just too dang cute !!!

been working on my girl's group today, boy getting everything to line up is tough, a learning curve for sure....had to junk my first page and changed how I did it....will post a photo when I'm done!

Traci the hamster layout is adorable :)

No no no. This one you don't have it all line up exactly like the sketch. As long as it is close - meaning you can which one it was supposed to be - is good enough.

No stressing allowed on this one.

I didn't stress, just wasn't happy with my first shot.....here it is, hope you all like..

Group 12 - girls....added an extra flower on the title, the mats are inked to soften them up a bit

I'm an inkaholic myself. I love the mats, I love the colors and papers you used and I love the flowers.

I think it looks great!:lovestruc

Thanks Annie....the colors are really much brighter, couldn't get them to photog better! this was a challenge for me to pick pattern paper that would go together, just not in my brain to does this type of matching!
