Standard Studio Reservation for rent at Kidani in Animal Kingdom Villas for Check in on 12/19/10 and Check Out on 12/22/10 due to change of cruise plans. Additional nights are available directly from Walt Disney World Hotels at higher costs.

Unless I'm looking at the chart wrong it is only 27 points so why are you asking so much?

Reservation is actually 33 points, not 27 points. This is a standard view in Kidani (the newer building), and not a value room (very limited supply, smaller size studio room) in Jambo.

We are asking a bit of a premium price, to cover the risks and hassle of renting, though it is not as expensive what we are paying for our 3 nights at Pop Century after our cruise. Having stayed at both Pop Century and Animal Kingdom Villas, the room at AKV is a much better value.

We are asking for $500, but may be willing to go lower if someone offers something lower.

If your reservation is still available, I have a couple of questions:

1. I have read that the rooms are VERY small....we would need to fit 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the room. Is that feasable?

2. Any chance to add 1 night?

As far as whether or not it is big enough for you, that is a decision that you need to make. Listed below is the square footage of the room, along with some comparisons to other Disney accommodations. It will be set up with a Queen size bed (high off the ground), a fold out sleeper couch with a couple of square coffee tables, along with a small table and 2 chairs. 2 Additional chairs will be on the verandah, and pictures are available on the disboards if you look. It will have a small counter with a refrigerator, 2nd sink and toaster, along with some paper plates, etc.

From a comparison standpoint, a
Pop Century Room would be 260 square feet
Category 11 cabin on the Disney Magic is 184 square feet
Catergory 4 family suite on the Disney Magic is 304 square feet.

As far as adding another night, I don't have the points, nor are there rooms available through DVC. Disney is of course happy to rent a different room to you (Animal Kingdom Lodge standard view would be $400 plus tax for Dec 18th) and will assist with transferring luggage between resorts through bell services (tip is expected).
