What are the rules on transferring points? Is it once per calendar year or once per use year?

I have 49 points that I will transfer today for 10 per point. They are my 2011year so aslong as your in your 2010 year they can be used.

I found out it is once per use year. My use year starts in October. SO I could transfer my 2010 points to you but I would first have to borrow from 2011 for a reservation I have in October. I would do all this for you for $11 per point.
