Linnette, I say this because I care, "You are NUTS!" That outfit is perfect just the way it is!!! You are so silly!!! It looks wonderful!

How about hot apple cider? MMMMM!!! good! and you can get the natural apple juice and mull it yourself...control what goes into it...Yum on a cold day!

MMMMM, that does sound good!! My Mom makes hot apple cider on Saturday night when we all go camping. it is sooo good!

Has anyone heard from T-Beri? I was thinking of all the people who have disappeared over the life of this thread and remembered she hasn't been around. I know she wasn't feeling well but I hope she is better now. She is missed.

She's doing ok. She doesn't have internet access at home, so it's hard for her to get online.

I finished another outfit for our trip!:cool1:
I don't know if I will have any time to get anything else done or not! The time is ticking away, and I have to work extra next week so that I can have the time off!
Vida with Jeanne's spin on the back! I was going to put Tramp on the back, but I didn't have any grey fabric in my stash.

I love LADY!!! This is so pretty!!!! Another great job Tom!

Bonjour and Merci' ami!
I have officially never seen that smiley after that sentence before.
It may be a first.
That's funny, I thought the same thing. Maybe it was supposed to be after "France?":confused3
No, it is after I cancelled my trip, and got something better.
No, I am happy to cancel for this.
April is excited that she was able to cancel her trip to WDW and then plan the trip to France. You would have to know April to understand.:thumbsup2
Thanks Mes Ami!
And, to think the other week you were mad at him for trying to talk you into going to WDW!!! What happened??? :confused3
Yes, we had been going back and forth on WDW as I am saving for used car and refused to spend money on WDW when I need a car. Rather than I want to go to Disney. In these times I think making choices can be hard and I am going with what I need. DH stepped up and said he would be done with baby step 3 and would pay for the WDW trip in full. It was then that I said yes to Disney. After watching "keys to the castle" on HGTV we discussed taking the money to go to WDW, saving a bit more to go to France. We have been to WDW more than most in the past and we wanted something new to remember.
April- I think it's great that you get to go to Paris, and I did know what you meant, I just was posting real quickly and didn't put a :rotfl: I hope you have a fantastic time!
Thanks, I thought it was very cute and you are right, I never have seen happy behind cancelling a trip!
there is always Disneyland Paris:rotfl2: Very cool France! Are you taking hunter?
As for Hunter going, that is good question. I immediately said of course why would I go anywhere without Hunter? But then I have to be painfully honest with myself and accept the limitations Hunter has. What is best for Hunter? I am sure we will find the answer with a lot of prayer and time to talk. For now, I don't know. Please PM me with your thoughts if you would.
Now you can go to Disneyland Paris!!!:lmao:
There is DLP and we have thought of going but it is France. We have been to DL, WDW and I think we may want to spend more time seeing France rather than a frech version of an American Icon. I suggested we just go to the entrance and get a picture. :upsidedow I just don't know for now.
Yes go there. It looks so beautiful.
:clown: um what is this?
The clown is a bit like that Steven King clown...

I can think of a few reasons to put :cheer2: behind cancelling a WDW trip. I was so irresponsible with my finanaces. If a person cancels because they know the money isn't there and they don't want to use then credit then I :cheer2: . For us it is just a chance to go to France.

Of course, DH can back out and the planning and trip can all just disappear. I hope he stays focused and makes this happen. If he cancels on me I will end up back at WDW.

Au Revior Ami, Avril Kul my name in French

Thank you for letting us know. When is she due?

Hmm, I'm not sure!! She told me on November 4, and I think that was the same day she took the test, so she wasnt' too far along then. I'm sure she's told me, but I can't remember!

It's perfect Linnette! Don't change a thing!

:That turned out super cute! I was browsing the bookmarks the other night and thought about making one (I have no idea why). I also want to try my hand at bow making lately.
Well back to :coffee: . I really gotta find a warm drink that I love. I put way too much sugar in tea and hot chocolate just seems like pure sugar. Coffee, never! :scratchin Any ideas?

Three words Jessica: Spice Chai Latte! I buy it at the grocery store. My stores carry a brand called Pacific Chai. It is tea but doesn't really taste very tea-ish. It is not as cloyingly sweet as hot chocolate. It is yummy. If you don't find it at the store, let me know and I'll bring you some!

I use whatever I can get my hands on, but I really like the ones from Old Navy. They seem thicker and softer.

I really think it's fine. The letters are not too big. I was thinking what makes them look different is that the "S" and "A" are not as wide as the "H" and the "M" I think it's just the angle of the pic thought. I have seen some Shamu's with a couple of waves or water splashes under them if you think it would make you feel better? I really like it how it is though.

This one I changed the colors to make them pop a little more.
I love the embroidery but am not thrilled with the jacket but I think I am just so spoiled with Carla's designs!

I love the outfit Linnette. I really think it is perfect. And for a boy I wouldn't want to add anything else to it. For them I think less is better. But if it were a girl I'd have to tell you to "bling" it out! Great job!

Somehow I missed this until someone quoted you about your machine dying. Sorry.

I TOTALLY agree about the cleaning the house thing! UGH! BUT, maybe it would be a good way to get my DD to clean her room? :rotfl:

As far as the cost of a machine - my Baby Lock decorator's choice was $800. There was a model just slightly below that was $600. It was a good machine as well, but it didn't have the thread trim function on it, and I really wanted it. I've not had the first problem with it since I brought it home 5 months ago. When I had my brother, I had already had it in the shop by this point.

Thanks Shannon! Now I know how much I need to save (and it's going to take a while!). What is the thread trim function? I have no idea what that is!

Very cute Tom! I love how girly it is. You did a fantastic job on Lady too. Wasn't it you that said you didn't applique? You do a fantastic job on them!

Someone asked about t-shirts and where you get them. Sorry I didn't quote you! Anyway, I have bought them from Target before and Wal-Mart and they have all been fine. Strangely enough though the ones I did this fall from Wal-Mart were better than the Target ones (and I really like Target better than Wally World). The Wal-Mart ones were a little bit thicker than the Target ones and they had cute little scalloped trim (kind of like embroidery floss, sorry my description isn't that great - but a very understated trim - hardly noticeable) around the neck and sleeve which was cute, kind of makes them look a little bit more girly. Oh, the sleeves were "puffed" just a little. Hmm, now I need to find a picture since my description is lacking. Okay, I'll be back if I can find one.

The thread trim will cut the thread after you have stitched. It doesn't trim it close to the garment, but it does cut so you don't have to pull it out and cut. It's pretty nifty! My machine also allows me to tell it to always tack down stitch at the beginning and the end of the stitching and then cut the threads when it has finished.

Can't find a picture where you can see what I am talking about, sorry! And I sent all of our clothes from this fall's trip to my cousin who kind of lives by T-beri and has a daughter so that she has them if they go on any trips.

I think someone asked about T's due date and if I'm not mistaken (and I certainly could be!) it is July 2nd. I remember this since it's my Lilly's b-day. Which kind of makes sense if she told us on November 4th since I remember taking my pregnancy test with Lilly about two days after Halloween. If you're reading this T, I hope you're doing well and feeling better! We miss you!

Where is she racing? I live in the Oklahoma City area. Be sure and bring some warm clothes. We are going to be mid to high 70's today and then tomorrow 58, Sat 38 and Sun 44. That is typical for Oklahoma. Don't like the weather, wait a few hours and it will probably change.:rotfl2:

That sounds like a great little extra but I especially like the option to tack down the stitch at the beginning and end of stitching. I forget to do that sometimes and it makes me crazy!

My new machine has that feature and I love it!

What type or brand of shirt do you like? 100% cotton, 50/50 blend? Hanes, Jerzees?
Have you ordered from Jiffyshirts.com before? Or some other online vendor?

i can't stand jiffy shirts! I have ordered from there and a few things are okay, but sizes are so off it is rediculous! Ordered a pink t the other day and might as well be toilet paper it is so thin! I ordered the same shirt that I bought LIn from walmart, it was fruit of the loom and I checked the #'s off the tag. The one from Jiffy was much thinner and no way the same.

I like old navy for boys or mens! Love them in fact. Hanes 100% cotton (was from walmart) are pretty darn good. Faded glory work and so far have washed up okay.

Girls are another story, unless toddler then Garanimals is #1! I bought one about 4 years ago and HATED it and now that is all I want for toddlers! They are my favorite! Cherokee is okay from target, but more expensive.

Jerzees I find are always junk and I waste them, I have a pile sitting here. But a friend sent me three and they were decent and I was okay with them so maybe it is just the ones I see or something!
