Closed due to capscity

DHS today - not sure what time or level - but leaving the park today (because it was too crowded) at about 2:00 and the park was closed. We are AP holders and staying on property and were told we would not gain re-entry if we left. No problem! The line for Star Tours was insane! The line wound down through streets of America! No thank you! We bailed. Happily!

If you are an on-site guest and-or AP holder, you'd be in the last group still let in, so if they said you wouldn't be re-admitted it was Stage 4 (final stage...CLOSED TO ALL!).

Jason Garcia had tweeted around 2pm that MK, DHS and AK were all at Stage 3 from his description, but were opened by about 2:30pm. Never heard about Epcot.

IOA was also closed around the same time.

The magic kingdom was on stage four today also. The lines were scary!

I was working at AK Gate for 6¼ hours today. The predicted numbers were that this would be the heaviest day of the entire year. (I will not give the number.)

I do know that the lines for the turnstiles got so long that two times, for a total of about 15 minutes, we turned off the finger scanners so anyone with a valid ticket could enter the Park. Each time this dropped the length of the lines which had been back to the ticket booths.

And I know that when I left work we were at a Phase Two Closing, where no tickets were being sold and you already had to have tickets to get in.

We are here now, and Epcot crowds weren't as bad, although long waits for Soarin, Test Track and Mission Space.

We had Studios to ourselves last night though! Walked right into Fantasmic!

We take it easy as we are DVC, but we feel badly for all of the first timers in attendance.

I believe it. I've been Easter week - Spring Break - week of July 4th - Memorial Day - New Years Day - I've NEVER seen anything like today. I did not know AK could get that crowded. I took pictures.

Biltmore House has reached capacity the last two days and Cataloochee ski area up here also closed to capacity. It's not just Disney!

Keep them coming, please. I can't believe how crazy those crowds are. I don't think I would ever go at such a busy time of year. I don't like waiting in lines.
