I was talking to the GM when I checked in and he said that the second week had not been too bad. But WL had been at 100% occupancy since early November. I loved seeing the christmas decorations again, but I'll stick with our January trips.Where did the time go? It seems like we were just waiting for her to arrive and now she is standing and 10 mos old already!! Happy everything went well for her first trip.My DGD is one who will do better going older for her first time and definitely during a quiet time. She really wants to see the Christmas decorations and parade( my fault because we have been watching the MVMCP promo on the website since she was old enough to look at the screen
), but all of December is so busy now. Used to be early was nice, but the 1st 2 weeks have gotten so crowded that it's not as much fun anymore...and sounds like the 3rd week picked up too now. For a couple of years the 11 to the 17th was another super quiet time.
Yeah!! Let the planning begin! We're actually going to be taking Jan '13 off and doing a cruise. So I won't be back most likely until I go for a conference for work in March '13. The princess
will be a little older by then!

....but my first choice, a monorail resort, will be too costly for 2 rooms...if WL has completed a refurb then that will definitely be in the running.... and I could rent points there..but the Villa view are not good and I LOVE a good view.

I do love the decorations, but now that the crowds are getting worse, will probably go back to Jan/Feb - thing is that the weather can be such a crap shoot then....freezing nights or even days, raw and rainy...not fun with a munchkin. So I am torn...but she will do better during a slower time. The only other slower times, it is hotter than hades!
Earlier this month when my family and I stayed at the Boardwalk Inn we didn't use online check-in and we still got an e-mailed copy of our bill on the morning we were to check-out.

You could always take the launch to WL to visit.
I think last Kook heard it was being pushed out more toward the summer. It's going to be a long process though. I've been at other resorts during refurb and never had an issue.

both the BLV and TPV at BLT look amazing. VWL don't have nice views? Made me smile!
You could walk to the ferryboat to TTC from BLT...or as Brian said boat over to WL. Just saying
This is OT but a little funny. The CM on the phone when I booked WL kept talking about the amazing "geisha" that spouts out water. I didn't have the heart to correct...It was cute
