Changing my ADR's was relatively painless. I was worried now that we are less than a month away. Online made it rather simple. On the days where I was changing the number of guests it recognized a duplicate reservation and automatically asked me if I wanted to replace the old with the new.

By the way we just learned that another old high school friend will join us for 3 days of our trip. So we now have some ADR for 3,4, and 5.

I thought that I was done but DS just requested Prime Time for supper on his birthday.

If we are staying at the WL CL in early august will the rooms all be rehabbed on the CL floor? Can you recommend rooms to request that are close to the elevator? Starting to get excited about WL.

Plane got in at 8:20 and we were able to get checked in by9:30 and our room was ready. We booked a standard room but when we got there we not only had a woods view overlooking the pond but we also had a perfect view of the castle!!!!! I am SO thrilled.

Happy weekend to everyone!

I was busy yesterday making some changes to our upcoming trip. DD has a camp that runs the week we were supposed to leave for FL, so I had to move everything forward by one week, but that meant availability wasn't as it was the week prior.

We're booked the first 2 nights at AoA CARS suite. This will be our first Value; I'm really curious and intrigued by AoA.

Then we move over to YC/CL for 4 nights. DD and I have stayed there, but not DH, so this is a first for him. I tried to book CR and BLT instead, but they're booked and Kidani had no Savanna View available. We'll save them for another trip.

Saving the best for last: Our last 8 nights are at WL/CL:yay:

But, now I have no ADRs since I'm starting from square one, so I have some planning to do this afternoon:goodvibes

Enjoy the weekend!

I love exploring around FW, too! I love it early in the morning when only the ponies/horses and wildlife are active and I can sneak a peak around River Country:tiptoe: and all along Bay Lake. The only problem is that they don't spray for mosquitoes off the concrete paths and sidewalks so they will be buzzing and biting:scared1:

Your changes sound good! I am really curious about AoA as well. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

We booked MBYBBQ for our arrival night. It gets some negative reviews but I think it will be nice to check out FW and I want DS to meet the Mouse ASAP otherwise I think we would be hearing him ask for Mickey non-stop. Unlimited Mickey bars sounds like a good way to start the trip as well;)

Wonderful! I hope we're as lucky in December for our first stay at WL!!

Hi..I'm curious...What's your "mickey mail"? Is it something we receive via email? Or did you arrange for this via a fairy godmother?

If you have booked a package, you will get a packet in the mail with all of your confirmations, and the vouchers/coupons included in the package...and best of all, the commemorative luggage tags, which are adorable this year!!! It will come when you are within 45 days of your trip. Mine came yesterday, 36 days out. :goodvibes

We got our Mickey Mail today!!!!!.:banana::banana:

36 days to go....
YAY!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I was trying to think of a few gifts that I could get for each of the kids to set up in the room myself while DH is distracting them. I was thinking of including a Disney plush for each of them when out of nowhere my teen daughter (that has been trying to act like she is too old/cool for Disney) comes into the room and asks for a stuffed cub from the new movie Brave. She has curly red hair herself so Merida is going to be a hit with her. Anyways, all this rambling is just to say I think these cubs will look so cute sitting on their beds waiting for them. They fit the Wilderness Lodge theme perfectly.:thumbsup2

We are just home after ten days at the Wilderness Lodge. Got the lobby view room we requested and loved it. No problem with noise at all. We were on the fourth floor, south side. The north side is under going rehab but it honestly took me three days to figure it out. They are so quite and put up a tan mess barrier that you don't even see the workers. Housekeeping was hit or miss. Recieved two towel animals and tipped daily. Desk staff was wonderful and were able to help with anything we needed. This hotel is just the best! We had a great trip and can't wait to,go,back. If anyone is going soon tell Kirk at the front desk that Ryker said hello!

According to Mark Goldhaber's latest WDW update, the metal roof seams at WL that are being recoated should be completed by June 29. This could mean that Flag Family might be offered again after

We were told last week by front desk staff that flag family is scheduled to resume around June 17.

Resumes June 17th, great, we arrive July 13th, do we ask to be flag family upon check in?

Sounds like a wonderful stay. Thanks for sharing!!!! Come on November!

A note on the photo pass plus......we purchased this and think it is a great deal. We rode several of the rides multiple times and put each photo and each time on the card...no problem. At the Pirate League the photo was put on the card and we were given a copy also and no extra charge. same at the HOop dee doo. We felt the photo pass photographers went out of their way to take pictures for us when they saw the red card. Each time instead of one or two pictures they took many pictures. One day I forgot the card and used a regular photo card and there was a marked difference in the amount of photos taken and the attitude of the photographers. We ended up with over three hundred pictures. Be sure to keep all of your receipts even after adding them to your card. Found two set of pictures were missi f but I had the receipts and added them at home. You often have to ask for the receipts so please do so. Overall I felt the Photopass plus was a good deal for our fami.y.

The 7th floor of the South Wing is scheduled to be rehabbed from July 7-27 and form what TheLodgeLady reported last week, the rehab seems to be slightly ahead of schedule. If you are in the South Wing in August, your room should be brand new.

Instead of requesting specific room numbers, just ask the IPO to add to your reservation notes: "Close to elevator, please." This will also put you closer to the lounge.

I love that you were in your room in an hour and 10 minutes after arriving at MCO and you were upgraded to Woods View:yay:. Do you have a rehabbed room?

I'm glad you like the changes. I'm really curious about it and the huge room, food court and theming sounds fabulous and fun. Have you seen the menu? Such a great variety of really interesting dishes.

I've read some negatives, too about MBYBBQ, but I've also read that you get TONS of character interaction up close and personal (if you want it) so that sounds perfect for your 3-year-old. And, you can mix it up and maybe walk there and stop and see the horses/ponies on the way then boat back. Please let us know how you liked it:)

That just seems perfect for a WL-themed gift! Teens can really surprise us sometimes, can't they? Unpredictable things they are:confused:

That's great, Mammaz! Thanks for reporting back to us about your stay. Did you book a BB? I hope you get to stay there again soon:)

Thank you, I will put this on the first page under UPDATES.

What great information - thank you. I also have some PhotoPass links and info. HERE.

I wonder if they'll ever offer any discounts like a pre-order or AP discount?
