Another question...what are the views like for a standard room CL, are they of the service area??? or can I request woods view on that too?

The booking is called "Standard Club Level" but, that's misleading because it refers to the room type and NOT the view. The CL views are by-request only and these are the only options (there aren't any standard VIEWS):

~VWL Courtyard

~Inner or WL Courtyard

~Woods

Oh phew!!!! I think I will put in a Woods view request, try and get that Wishes view!!! Can I still request "Overlooking Otter Pond"?? I am soooooo excited!!!!! (even though I had to shell out more $$ to pay it in full...oh well!!! Can't go wrong...I've got room and dining for the price of just an AKL CL room rack rate for my dates...I think that's a great deal!)

Of course it is!!! I'm a little late to the game, deciding on CL with only 67 days to go, but I've already done my ADRs and just need to tweak them a bit.

If we weren't heading to Yellowstone in September I would try to convince my DH to go back and stay CL. Oh well, there's always January for my Bday!

Ha! birthday is a perfect excuse!!! Our July trip will include my 34th bday and our 10 year anniversary is next month so we are celebrating that! I literally have the best DH in the world!
Can you tell this is not only my first deluxe stay but also our first club level stay???

To all you CL veterans (I'm talking to you WDWKOOK ), do you know offhand any room numbers that would provide glimpses of the Magic Kingdom through the trees in North Wing? If not, do the Courtyard views offer a view of the Electrical Parade? My only concern is the music because at BLT it was LOUD and my daughter kept waking up. She was 8 months then so at 2 I'm not as concerned about her being in bed super early on vacation.

I can't comment from personal experience as we've always had a Courtyard View from CL. But, maybe someone else will

On a positive note, the EWP is about 30 minutes earlier at WL - 9:35 Vs. 10:05 at the CR/BLT and unlike BLT, you can barely hear Wishes.

Just caught up on this thread. I read lots of threads about most of the resorts but why is it that this is the one that makes me sigh and say I wish I was there right now?
