(CLOSED) Disney's WILDERNESS LODGE and VILLAS INFORMATION THREAD ~2014~

Status
Not open for further replies.
Good morning!

I'm posting without multi-quoting…again:flower3:. I will go back later, way back, to gather all the posters' dates who asked to be added to the Lodger's Log.

I have all the photos (for 3 threads) uploaded to Photobucket:faint:. Instead of doing another TR, I'm going to post separate thoughts, updates and photos to each of my threads. Some of this may be a repeat of what I posted while on vacation, but I want to have everything in one post, if possible, for those who may have missed those posts. I will, in the near future, replace and add new photos and news updates to the first two pages of the thread. I'll post when I've made any updates/revisions.

Thank you to all who so quickly and accurately answer questions and since this is a FAQ/Information thread, thank you to those who kindly re-directed posters to pool-closure discussion/complaint threads. I will still continue to update the NEWS section of the thread with any relevant pool closure information, etc… but, please direct pool closure complaints to the Disney Resorts forum threads that have been created for that purpose.

Welcome back lady!!

Looking forward to your photos :).

Do the discounts count towards CL rooms as well, or do you always pay rack rate for CL?

Yes, WL CL rooms are often included in discounts :). Like all discounts, not all resorts/room types are offered (and some are offered at a lower discount), but CL rooms have been included.

Welcome back, KOOK :flower3:.

I'm sure you had another amazing trip and I can't wait to read all about it, as well as see all of your great pics :goodvibes.

We are looking forward to our first WL stay. Since we ALWAYS stay on Monorail resorts we plan to visit some of the other resorts this trip.

Liz

You are going to love the WL :thumbsup2. We are a monorail family as well, but the WL is also a favorite of ours. We prefer being in the MK area and while being on the monorail is great, the WL is just as convenient (IMO) since it's just a quick boat ride away from MK as well as the CR to catch the monorail ;).

Have a great trip and I hope you love the WL as much as we do :wizard:.

We are looking forward to our first WL stay. Since we ALWAYS stay on Monorail resorts we plan to visit some of the other resorts this trip.

I have a couple questions regarding transportation between resorts! Last year we saw construction from the CR on what I assume is a new MK bus pick up area for onsite hotels. If I am not assuming wrong, the easiest way to visit other resorts is to take a launch (or bus) from WL to MK then walk to the bus drop off? Would it be better to take resort buses to parks to go to other resorts or deal with the traffic in the Downtown Disney Area?

Is Ticket and Transportation Center now mainly for offsite guests?

And lastly, we are SOOO looking forward to sampling the CL food offerings. Since the DH is something of a beer snob, I'm wondering if anyone knows if the CL offers anything other than the typical Bud/Miller. If that is all they offer, I'm considering having the Pirate Chest of beer and snacks delivered to the room for our arrival date.

Thanks for any help/insight!

Liz

Beer snob here as well. It won't let me post links as I have under 10 posts, but check out beersandears(dot)net. Great resource for good beer in the park. Click on DW Beer List and it lists by location.

Cheers!

I truly feel bad for those who are disappointed with the situation here. It does stink. If we had a courtyard/pool view room I'd be looking to change it too. If I had children I'd be looking for a different place to put my head at night.

This is our situation. Paid for a courtyard/pool view room and have kids 7 and 4. So we are moving. Very disappointed because it will cost us more money AND the kids don't get the bunk beds they wanted. But there's nothing we can do about it. It would be nice if Disney notified us though. Still no letter.

Interesting Disney won't help you out...........are you going up in class from the WL? .............or down? Have you tried to speak with them?................it just doesn't seem right.........given the announcement time.

No matter what I hope you're vacation turns out spectacular for you and your family ::yes::

Doug :goofy:

We are checking in to WL on 7/20 for our first time there and will wind our trip up with 1 night at the Contemporary on 7/25. Thanks for all of the great information in this thread!!

Thanks tons for this! http://beersandears.net/ There is even an App for "on the go" info. It looks like the Territory Lounge has a wonderful selection. If the link isn't allowed please remove it!

Trying to multi-quote a few pages at a time:hourglass

Since all CL rooms on the 7th floor have enclosed balconies, is it better to requests an inner CY view or a north wing view?
We really love the Inner CY view. You can watch the EWP and when you pull the curtains open in the morning, this is the first thing you see:

Just subscribed to this thread and caught up on the posts. Thank you for all the great information.

We stayed at VWL in 2012 for Thanksgiving week with the whole family (ages 7- 75) and absolutely loved it!!! It definitely became our favorite resort and the holiday decorations are just perfect. The canyon fireplace and national park theme inspired us to travel to the Grand Canyon this coming Thanksgiving and stay at the historic El Tovar on the south rim.

Where I am really looking forward to the Grand Canyon, I think I am the most excited that the family just decided T-day 2015 will be back at VWL, which will also be my 40th. I guess that officially makes me a crazy, obsessed Disney fan to look past GC to VWL. Oh well, I've accepted it and hope I have company here :)

Just DW, DD, and I leave for CBR in 18 days but I'm glad to know we have our next trip to WDW in the works. I hope they bring back the Osbourne Family Dancing Lights another year, my personal favorite.
Welcome! It's always great knowing when you can return to WDW. The OFDL is scheduled this year, so I'm sure it will be around in 2015 for your visit. Happy planning!

We received an official letter from Wilderness telling us that the main pool will be closed early September thru November. The quiet pool and hot tub will be open. We can use CR or FW pools during that time.

We are staying put and I think the CR pool slide looks like more fun for my DDs, 12 and 10. For us it's okay, but, like so many, I don't understand why they wouldn't do this during the winter months like the Water Parks are done.

Oh well, we love WL and look forward to our visit. It's been 5 years since we stayed there and the theming and boat to MK are our main reasons for coming back. Plus, DDs love a bunk bed room. That's why we like AKL rooms too!
I was told by a manager that all of the resort pools must have fences added and there aren't enough workers to complete all the projects during the low season. The work must be staggered and the WL permit expires at the end of the year so that's why the work is being completed in the Fall. The work was to start in the summer, but management was able to delay the start until after the summer school-aged crowds are gone.

Here is a copy of the letter for reference (credit to Tikiman via his Facebook page)...

Thank you for posting that. Another letter is supposed to go out that offers guests a one-day water park pass with transportation.

We are returning to the WL in two weeks:cool1:! Does anyone know if the screening will be down around the creek?
As of 3 July, painting of rocks was still being done, the creek was dry and screens were still up. I posted a photo yesterday. I don't have any updates after 3 July, but it seems to be taking longer than anticipated.

Thank you to the WL angels  who are lurking around here...:cloud9:

You're too cute.

What an amazing thread!

I just booked two rooms for 9 nights in January at the WL! CAN'T wait!!

DH & I will be there for Marathon weekend and then my Mom will arrive with my children for a week :dance3:
Welcome to the thread! Sounds like you have a great trip planned. Good luck to you in the marathon.

So glad to hear your trip is going well, KOOK! And excited to see some pictures! Could you provide an update on the stream construction, when you can?

Let us know what you think of the 7DMT!
We are so excited to get our first rides on it in a few weeks.... We have FIVE FP+s schedule for it! LOL
We rode 7DMT 4 times with FP+. I would not wait stand-by for this ride as it breaks down often and the stand-by lines are very long. My recommendation is to ask to wait for the last car. They will put you aside and you will board quickly. The 7DMT FP+ queue moves very fast and the indoor line is very well air conditioned. If you ask for the last car you will find that you can rock back and forth more easily and you won't feel the deceleration effect as you would from any other car. The other cars feel as if they are slowing down greatly after climbing a hill and preparing to descend. Also, prepare to come to a very abrupt halt at the very end of the ride before you slowly enter back into the mine. The ride is very smooth and fun, but again, I would only do it with FP+.

DH decided we needed a bit of magic in our life and couldn't wait until our October GF trip so he made a 4 night reservation for the end of July at WL!

We decided to stay out of the parks because of the heat and are considering a carriage ride. Are both Wilderness and Port Orleans rides similar or do you recommend one over the other?

Thanks for any help and suggestions!

Liz
WTG DH! I can't compare the two carriage venues, but it would make more sense to do it at FW which is an easy boat ride or walk from where you're staying.

Hi,

Great thread on the Wilderness Lodge Resort with an excellent content.

I have a question that I hope someone can answer.

I will be at the WL in May 2015 just me and my son. I would want a woods view room and will request one in the north wing away from the lobby.

Can anyone tell me which rooms are the King Beds? I would prefer a King Bed to have additional space but #1 preference is location.

I have noted that the King rooms at most other resorts tend to be on the corners. Does this hold true for the WL?

Thank you for your response.
Welcome! I've tried to get a room-type map, but those seem to be proprietary. I'm only told that "kings and bunks are scattered throughout the resort." You might be able to get more specific king room information from the Touring Plans WL Room Finder which is located HERE.

ETA: I forgot to mention that most kings at WL are HA rooms that are set aside for those who request them. When not occupied, they revert to open inventory and can be assigned to anyone. These rooms have HA features that can make them undesirable to guests not needing roll-in showers, lowered sinks, etc... So be careful when requesting a king.

After much debate on what to do for our late sept/early oct vacation, we are staying put at WL. I was going to switch from Courtyard View down to Woods View but since I booked with Orbitz, I have to cancel my stay entirely and rebook. Financially it would be ideal for me to rebook when I have my full refund back, and I'm kind of not looking to play with fire, in case Woods sells out while I'm waiting for my refund.

It's just my boyfriend and I, we are in our thirties and plan to do a lot of park time and if we do have free time we will explore the WL. We only had time to use the pool once last year at our stay at Pop so I think we will be okay with a pool closure. I'm a little upset i booked a Courtyard view but it is what it is I guess!
Welcome! Don't give up on the CYV, but know that the WV is lovely, especially in the North Wing on a high floor. Floors 5 and below all have balcony railings that you can see through;)

Pulled the trigger and moved to a one bedroom villa. I was excited before, but now!!!!!!! We loved the idea of a CL potential, but knew it was remote. Yesterday was the first time since the big FD day release that a one bedroom opened up. I may be whacked, but the idea of a giant tub, big fridge, and in room washer and dryer made me more giddy than free snacks and booze.

Saw some of the views from some of the rooms. YUM. I can feel the relaxy goodness washing over me

We also think we can hide where we are longer from the DD by staying in the villa. She still has no clue. :) :wizard:
You can always fill your huge fridge AND whirlpool tub with snacks and booze;). Relaxy goodness is at its finest at VWL and that tub will be perfect at the end of the day. Not going to the laundry room is a real plus, too. Sounds like the villa is a great compromise:thumbsup2

"Now that everyone in the known universe knows about the pool refurb, we thought we might officially announce it."
Refurb?! What refurb?! It's an enhancement;)

Congrats on the one bedroom villa. We had originally booked that but went the opposite direction and did the deluxe club level. A washer n dryer will never beat free booze in my world ; ). Enjoy!
Well, you've paid for the booze and the washer and dryer;), but I think you can have it all. There's always Territory Lounge, The Mercantile and the WL laundry room…and they're all pretty close to each other:thumbsup2

We are hoping to add 1 night onto our trip in December . We really want to try WL CL. I have briefly looked through this site for some info on what the current offerings are in the club, but could not find any info. Does anyone have a menu or pictures.

Also if Disney does release a RO, but is usually the discount for CL first week of December?

Looking forward to catching up on this thread really soon. :thumbsup2
I just so happen to have photos of the most recent menus. I'll replace the older menus that are in the CL Menu section with these soon:

Check out Page 1, Posts 7-9 of this fab thread powered by the kind-of-absent-cuz-she's-just-having-way-too-much-fun KOOK!
:rotfl:

Joining in!!! We stayed here in 2008 for our honeymoon and again in 2010 at which point we bought into DVC at BLT. We plan on paying OOP and staying club level in October 2015. Miss this place!!! I can't wait to stay here again!!!

P.S. I just left this exact post on the closed thread. Sorry!!! Thought I had clicked on this one.
Glad you found us and welcome!

Our first stay was on our honeymoon also!! Still have the photo of us by the buffalo on my desk at work.:goodvibes

I love coming home from a long day at work and finding Mickey mail in the mailbox. Looking through our booklet I still can't believe my family has decided to stay at the lodge. It will be our first deluxe! Still 6 months out but love the planning process. That also reminds me training starts soon for the half marathon/marathon. Hope everyone has a great week and if you are traveling soon have a great trip!
Congratulations on booking your first Deluxe Resort. It was our first Deluxe back in '97 and we still LOVE it. Best of luck in the 1/2 and Full.

So busy w/ a new job I didn't notice the new thread! We are 127 days out from our next WL trip! Though that sounds terribly far away when we have the Poly 28 days away :badpc: Can't wait!
So you'll be arriving at the Poly just after the pool closure? Are you going to take advantage of the free water park pass? Sounds like you have lots of fun planning to do at WL and Poly!

Major change in plans today, the day after my trip was paid on full!!! lol. My 3 resort stay has just become a 2 resort split unexpectedly. **sigh**

No longer going to be staying at the Lodge in August :( I was completely gutted when I cancelled... but - it was short lived, will be doing a pre Christmas stay (hopefully CL) to make up for it.

Will post my new dates once they are finalized so I can be re added to the list!

;) It's been a crazy afternoon working out new logistics... I'm going to find a nice glass of sangria & a chair in the sun to enjoy it in...

Cheers!
A pre-Christmas stay sounds great and you're still going to WDW in August so it's all good.

We really love the Inner CY view. You can watch the EWP and when you pull the curtains open in the morning, this is the first thing you see:

What great views :cloud9:. I know most resorts have great views, but the WL is one of my favorites as the views are hard to beat, IMO :goodvibes.

I just so happen to have photos of the most recent menus. I'll replace the older menus that are in the CL Menu section with these soon

Thanks for the menus, KOOK :thumbsup2.

Curious that we have yet to receive any correspondence from WL or WDW regarding the pool closure :confused3 We booked our trip in Oct 2013, would have thought we'd have seen something by now...........feeling a bit left out :scratchin

Maybe they know we're not leaving for another resort...........:littleangel:

Doug :goofy:

We haven't received it either. I am kinda hoping that is because they think they might be finished before our trip. Not counting on it though. :guilty:

You can most certainly add your room location requests to your reservation. If you decide not to stay CL and book a CY Bunk Bed category then simply request

Inner Courtyard
View of Bay Lake

This will eliminate the WLV Courtyard View.

If you are booking CL, then BB are only a request (not guaranteed) and your room request on your reservation can look like this:

Bunk Bed
Inner Courtyard
View of Main Pool

The CL rooms are only in the western most part of the 'U', closest to the Main Lodge/Lobby. This will also eliminate the WLV Courtyard View and will get you a view of Bay Lake as well.

Thanks for the information, CuteAsMinnie!!:thumbsup2

I just emailed my TA and told her when packages come out to add this to the request:

Bunk Bed
Inner Courtyard
View of Main Pool

Hopefully we will get a similar view as WDWKOOK :)

I think we will be staying CL for this trip :woohoo: We are celebrating my oldest daughter's graduation, so I think it's going to be fantastic. We have never stayed at WL before (we have wanted to stay here forever!), so I will be pouring over this thread for the next 345 days! :rotfl:

I can't wait to see all the awesome pictures from WDWKOOK! :goodvibes

Water park pass as in TL/BB???
Yes, BB.

Yay is right!! I have always wanted to go over Christmas. :goodvibes
There's always Christmas 2014:santa:

So DH got his dates changed back to coming home Sept 28 and returning Nov 6 so we are Definitely going to WDW! :cool1:

Off topic, I was stupid and asked if they had any rocket attacks since he has been there (they have dramatically reduced since he was there 2 years ago) and nonchalantly he says 'Oh yeah, one hit just before we landed and we got yelled at to STOP!!! when we were taxing back to the hangar' :scared1:
Sooooooooo I don't think I am going to be asking that question again any time soon.
Great news, though old news now that I'm finally getting around to all these multi-quotes.

Stop watching the news! I had to stop reading the BBC news everyday when DH was in AFG because everything seemed to be referenced somehow to Kabul. Then I'd worry about it and when I'd ask DH about it, he'd usually say he knew nothing about it or it wasn't that close. It was the stuff I didn't read about that seemed to occur close to him. It's extra scary stuff to us, but fairly routine for those deployed. DH will be just fine - be strong for him:hug:

Hi all! After lurking on the former board and reading through it entirely, I jumped over to this current one and have read through it as well.

Although we have no definite trip planned, I know we will be staying at WL for it! There are a few considerations we have to make before actually planning this trip.

DH was just medically retired from the AF at the end of May, so right now he is just working a temporary job while waiting to get on somewhere better. Older DS just graduated high school at the end of May and was planning on jr. college then transferring, but in April decided he wants to join the AF! Now he's just waiting on that process so we don't know when he'll be going to basic since he definitely wants to go in with a guaranteed job. Then we'll have to see about tech. school and when he can get off. Younger DS will be starting high school this fall, so his school and activity schedules will also have to be considered.

Thank you to everyone here for all their contributions and advice! I feel very prepared for this "some time in the future" trip. We've been to eat at WL several times and we've said we want to stay here. All the research I've done here has just sealed the deal. I look forward to keeping up here with all the happenings!
Welcome to the newest WL/VWL thread! DH is retired USAF so we salute your DH and DS. I wish your family the best and hope you can soon start planning your next Disney adventure.

Well, you certainly are adventurous!!! :faint:

Now, did you run down to RF to grab some vanilla ice cream to top that cobbler?!?!?:thumbsup2:goodvibes

Enjoy your last day and last sleep at the Lodge
It just so happens that DD had to have some pre-dessert ice cream. It's really hard being back to reality and no pre-dessert dessert. How do any of us survive post-vacation reality?

Cobbler looks absolutely delicious...even at 8:30am  We didn't get to try the blueberry. They only had apple and berry (strawberry/peach) when we were there.

Hope you have a WONDERFUL last day kook!!!! pixiedust: Almost time to start planning your Christmas trip ;)
You have to go back so you can try the other cobbler flavors. Have you addressed in your TR where you'll be staying next time? I know you have the cruise booked, but have you talked about your pre or post cruise resort stay? Sorry I haven't gotten to your TR yet, but I can't wait to get to it tomorrow.

The cobblers look great! While fantastic, they were serving the apple cranberry every night but one the first wk of December last yr due to seasonality- I hope to try some of these flavors in Oct!
I am not a fan of the apple-cranberry. It's just not right, but luckily, there are other yummy dessert choices.

Saw on another thread that there will also be a room renovation going on where the staff may need to enter rooms between 9 and 5 ? Anyone else hear this?
This seems to be either a mistake or a mis-interpretation of a permit from last year that was re-filed/revised recently for VWL. VWL completed their villa rehab in March 2014 and WL completed its room rehab in 2012. I even asked a CM about this rumor and he wasn't aware of anymore rehabs other than the pool. The only thing I saw when I was there was the replacement of all the smoke detectors so workers were entering rooms to do that.

We are booked to stay at WL the last week of Sept./1st week of October. After receiving our letter we called the number provided and they transferred us to Guest Services. After some deliberation, we were offered an upgrade at the Grand Floridian (they would cover half the cost) or $500.
Thank you for posting about your personal experience with contacting Guest Services regarding your WL booking.

:cool1: Happy 4th !!!! God Bless America !!!!!!!!!
:thumbsup2:goodvibes

There is another active thread where people can discuss whether or not the pool construction will impact their trip.

Wilderness Lodge Mess

It is a much better place for the most recent discussion. :)
Thank you for posting the link, Sue.

On a new subject then.... Has anyone ever used the cubs den while they have a meal at Artist Point?
We have, but it was probably about 10 years ago. I think all of the Activity Centers are pretty much the same concept so any of them would be fine. It's nice to have a few hours of adult time on vacation so why not give it a try?

Hi everyone! We just decided to book a December 2015 trip at WL!!!

It will be our first time staying at this Beautiful resort!

I was hoping someone could help me with room category selection.

we have 2 small children, they will be 10 and 6 at the time.

we are on a budget , so CL is out.

I was wondering about standard and courtyard.

Can anyone give some pros and cons, or help with where to request?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
TIA!!
Annabug
Welcome! Why not book SV and save some money. The higher North Wing rooms have a slight Wishes view, but do have the Smokehouse and delivery area below. The South Wing rooms have nothing negative below them (though a few are right above the Cub's Den roof), just grass and pretty flowers, the parking lot off to the right and the bus stop and woods in front. And, you never know, you might just be upgraded.

HOLY MICKEY BARS!
I just realized that we have 52 Days till we are at WL!! I have so much to do!!

And cause I never did my double digits dance...

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:
:wave2::yay:

Due to the construction we thought it would be best to switch to the GF this trip but we'll be back hopefully next (or the following) Christmas when the WL really shines! I'm going to miss the lodge but can't wait to return - I'm excited already! :}
It's all good, you're still at WDW and k&a&c'smom is a wonderful GF thread hostess.

Thanks for the information, CuteAsMinnie!!:thumbsup2

:rotfl:You will be hooked!!!!!! :dance3:

Take a peek at MY ticker!:rolleyes1. Unless I can convince DH to sneak in a getaway sooner...;)

:wave2: Kook,

How were the 'special' poolside Long Island Iced Teas???? :drinking1

Looking forward to seeing your pics!!

Hi WDWKook,

First off, thank you again. Your info and guidance has been very helpful. It sounds like you have had a great trip and I am really happy for you. We are totally chuffed for our trip in 87 days, but after a great deal of thought and back and forth, have opted to leave the WL. It was a hard decision especially after following your posts and the way you make the place sound so magical. It was for that reason we decided it best to go another path. We were concerned it was headed towards the path of the Poly, and have read so many negative things regarding that, that we decided we didn't want to risk it. We want to experience the WL in the future and would rather it be with what you describe and keep that wonderful positive energy. :)

Please remove our name from the log. We have been transferred over the the BTL. We are still super excited and can hardly wait! We are sad to be missing the WL for, but feel this is just the best way for us to go and maintain everything we had planned and hoped for with our trip.

Of course, now we have to figure out when to tell the DD of her big 5th birthday adventure. With the BTL and the castle being right there, it will be a bit harder to hide to plan. With the WL, we figured we could hide things until the day of and have the big reveal as it was happening. Any thought?

I see you have a BTL page as well. Thankful for that and I look forward to reading more things over there. You seem like a very positive person and suspect have a way to make a rock sound magical. That is a gift. :)
You're still on Bay Lake and the one bedroom villas at BLT are amazing. See you on the BLT/CR thread - you can just take the Blue Flag or a Sea Raycer over;)

Hello all, we are staying at WL for the first time in June 2015, but we are at an impasse as to whether to stay Courtyard View with Bunk Beds or Courtyard View, Bunk Bed, Concierge Level. What are the pros/cons of staying CL? I was hoping to get some insight from all of you :goodvibes Is it worth the upgrade? And I know we may be getting "picky" but do any of you know if it is possible to get a CL Courtyard view with bunk beds overlooking Bay Lake? Thanks so much (in advance) for the inputs (and pictures if you have any). Thanks bunches!! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
Welcome! If you have to have a guaranteed bunk and CV then you'd need to book a non-CL room. Most CL bunk requests are met, but there is no guarantee. The CL sections of the thread should answer all your questions, but let us know if you have any specific questions.

IMHO, there are no cons to staying CL at WL;)

When booking CL, you can only request:
Inner courtyard
Bunk beds

keeping in mind bunk beds are only a request on CL, not a bookable category.
CL Inner Courtyard will also get you a view of Bay Lake. Overlooking Bay Lake, no, but a spectacular view of the inner courtyard AND Bay Lake.

Take a look at the room view pics on Pg 1.:thumbsup2
Just a little clarification - you can also request a Woods View room with or w/o bunks. About 1/4 of all CL rooms have bunks. They are located within Woods and CY views in both wings. Bay Lake, the geyser and pool is in the view of all inner CYV rooms, but only the Deluxe rooms at the very end of the two wings directly front Bay Lake.

Liz
Welcome! The bus stop at the MK was being increased to accommodate the new reticulated/extra long buses. Avoid DTD at all costs! Take resort buses from the parks, like MK. These are the beers that are served CL at WL. There are also photos of the fridge with the beer in the CL section of the thread. The thread index is on page one.

Welcome back lady!!

Looking forward to your photos :).
Great to be (almost) caught up on all the threads. I hope to post some new photos tomorrow - stay tuned.

Welcome back, KOOK :flower3:.

I'm sure you had another amazing trip and I can't wait to read all about it, as well as see all of your great pics :goodvibes.
Thank you for the warm welcome!

We are checking in to WL on 7/20 for our first time there and will wind our trip up with 1 night at the Contemporary on 7/25. Thanks for all of the great information in this thread!!
Great to have you here and I'll log your dates. Let me know on the CR thread if you'd like that date posted as well.

So Kook, no more updates or changes to the dates for the pool refurb?
No changes. Are you booked now at GF?

What great views :cloud9:. I know most resorts have great views, but the WL is one of my favorites as the views are hard to beat, IMO :goodvibes.

Thanks for the menus, KOOK :thumbsup2.
You're welcome.

:goodvibes
Only rooms 7127 (south wing) and 7035 (north wing) on the CL floor have direct-facing views of the CY. The other inner CV rooms face the other wing with Bay Lake, the pool and geyser off to the left or right. You don't need to add "pool view" to your request as the pool is in the CY. If you have a booked CL reservation, you can email or call the IPO anytime to have them add any requests to your reservation, you don't have to wait to do that.

None outdoors this visit, but I did enjoy the Habanero Margaritas at TL...

O my!:scared1:

DH and DS are asking if the sauce on the wings are the same as last year? They are remembering them being bone- in and this latest menu indicates boneless.

Thx from the guys.:worship:

Sorry, we're not wing eaters:duck: so I can't help with that. Do you mean CL or TL? I didn't eat the CL ones either:flower3:
