Has anyone watched Wishes from the rooftop?? How do you "reserve" that? And how's the view? I'm assuming there's no music though, right?

Guys, for 7 am chief mickey, would suggest the early morning character MK bus, the blue boat or just grab a cab? Dun wanna waste too much money on cab if possible but would rather not be late of course lol

I just committed to flights! I had been watching the flights for 3 (probably longer!) weeks, and just watched the price go up $126! So I booked today! I booked DME right after that, (I got a confirmation email), so I just now need to update CL IPO...

I got a plastic box that I'm storing all my printed documents, etc. in and it's hidden under the bed away from DD...

I dug out my Minnie Countdown calendar that I made(I'm a scrapbooker) the first time we went... I put it up on the fridge 15 days before, and then we move a magnet over which day it is... (plus DD and I will make a rip chain for her)... I also printed a "Mousekeeping" envelope for every day we will be there!

And...I just added that stinking Memory Maker...

Hi y'all!

We came home earlier today after spending 2 nights at WL for the first time, and let me just tell you... WE ARE HOOKED!!! Of course, those of you who've already stayed there before knew that would probably happen!

We arrived Friday afternoon - check-in was a breeze, since we'd already completed the online check-in. We had booked a woods view room and requested a high floor prior to check-in. We were put in room 6106 - 6th floor, across the hall from ice/vending, and around the corner from the elevators. Our view was trees and some of the villas - pretty much what we expected. The staff was wonderful and made us feel right at home.

We had breakfast at WCC twice - MT was our server both mornings, and we absolutely loved her! We were celebrating our son's 15th birthday, and she was a riot with him! The food was good, and we will definitely go again and request to be seated in her section.

DH and I had dinner at Artist Point last night - just the two of us - and it was, by far, the best meal we've had at WDW to date. Our server, Keith, was exceptional - really spent a lot of time with DH and the Scotch and Bourbon selections. They bonded quite well. We will definitely return, and we will ask for Keith again, too. Just wonderful!

We only spent about an hour at the pool, but we really enjoyed it. The only "complaint" I have is that there weren't enough chairs available. We were only there to swim for a short time, so it all worked out fine - but if we'd have wanted to spend more time there, that would have been mildly frustrating. Not a big deal in the big picture, though!

We loved WL so much that we booked another stay in October with the BB offer! We will be staying in a 1Q/BB with a courtyard view, and I can't wait!!! So, would you please add us to the list again? October 24-26, 2014!

I would totally just hop on a Blue Flag boat. They start running by 6:45, and if you're at the dock then you can hop over and up to Chef Mickey's on time.

We just returned from a week stay at WL. We liked the boat to Contemporary - monorail to TTC - monorail to Epcot. We did this several times. One time tried the bus to Epcot and waited forever for a bus and then the bus goes to Ft Wilderness before going to Epcot. The boat /monorail route took about 30 minutes total. The morning we waited for the bus took 45 minutes total with bus wait time included. We love the monorail ride into Epcot!

Hello, quick question about the boat service: going to EP, are you better off just getting on a bus or taking the boat to CR and then monorail to TTC and then to EP?

We prefer the boat to CR then monorail route as well. Our timing found it to take a bit longer than the bus since you have to wait for a boat and two monorails, but a lot of that will depend on your luck as far as wait times go. We feel the boat and monorail route is more fun than waiting for a bus and riding it to FW on the way.

We tended to take the monorail to Epcot and the bus home, since WL is the first stop on the bus on the way back and it is a fairly quick trip.

Well, we are headed back in November...I bet they will be out for 2015 by then. I would hate to get caught up in all the FD drama! I am hoping there is one for March/April 2015.

I think the new ones must come out over the summer after the 2015 rates are released.

Yes, for us 35% beats free dining. (It's just me, hubby, and the puppy Maggie - and no LOL she isn't coming. I know families with kids often do better with FD because there are more people).

I think she meant sadly bec they don't have offers yet for 2015. We were supposed to go in April before we moved our trip to Nov and there is no way we could have booked another BB for 2014.

Thanks,i figured the boat is better, even if it were to be about the same time or a couple minutes longer, it beats sitting on a bus, IMO. Although we're only going to be doing EP and MK on this trip so maybe we can avoid busses altogether......aside from DME.

That's exactly what I meant! We will be going back in October for our BB stay, and if there aren't "new" BB offers out by then, then that means we won't be able to take advantage of another BB before the end of 2014. Sorry I wasn't very clear! I'm VERY happy with a 35% discount!!!

We are considering WL for our December 2014 visit. I know it's one of the most beautiful resorts during the holidays, but how are the overall crowd levels after dec 12? I want to avoid the pop warner crowds, but is there time to visit before the big holiday crowds arrive?

You won't have to worry about Pop Warner crowds staying at WL. They usually stay at an All Star and a moderate.
