Can you watch the fireworks from the beach area? Is there sound? I am probably arriving just before fireworks time and wonder if I will be able to see them. Thanks

The beach really faces the wrong way for the fireworks. They don't bring in the Wishes music. You might see some of the higher fireworks, but you'd do as well in front of WL and better on a high floor in the middle of the North Wing.

You can see the EWP from the beach and boat dock though, and we enjoyed doing that on our first night.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkk. So we hopped the Blue flag boat and found ourselves back at WL. 2 Standard rooms...both budget and my love for the Lodge brought me back. Good news is DH is happy and excited It must be the savings... Although I will miss CL, we will be out and about at the pool and the parks. I still get the resort I wanted for my 40th so it's all good. I really hope we get the connecting rooms..that's my only concern...

14 changes through my TA...I had a few before her too. What is crazy is I couldn't kept up with my changes through my very own PTR. What I do know is I can remember sitting in the pool saying to DH, the kids would love it here

14 changes....that's impressive. At this point, I think my TA would be happy to forfeit her commission to get rid of me....wait till she hears I am thinking of shortening my reservation with her to 6 nights so that I can book either 4 nights RPC, or 4 nights CR CL....

LOL love that change Candace.. yes these TAs will start screening for resort changers..my ptr is a continuation from 2013..its actually really funny to read through. 14 seems really low for me don't cha think....you blew me out of the race months ago!! Yet we are both here at kook's amazing thread. Love the lodge!!!

Can someone tell me where I can get information about using an ECV during our trip? One of the grandparents will be needing one during our stay and I wondered if it is difficult to park in the rooms. They each like having a queen bed to themselves so I didn't request a king bed with handicap accessibility? I also wondered if anyone had any experience with ECV rentals? Can you point me in a direction to get information? TIA!

There's some links on the Disabilities forum. I personally needed a wheelchair and had a good experience with walker Mobility. I know when we were at poly one year I've seen ecv in hallway plugged in. I imagine there's room, but it may feel tight in the room. Happy planning!!

Checking in - maybe. I'm holding on to a WL ressie for August. Woods view on the summer savings rate for 3 nights. Haven't been to the Lodge since 2010. Missing that pool!!!!

Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" and get my subscription going.

Any issues at WL in August? Refurb etc?
