You can actually order about 6 of the AP entrees, plus the TL menu has about 4-6 apps on it, (though I think some come from WC, like the nachos perhaps). We loved ordering the AP entrees at TL because it was a casual atmosphere and we didn't need an ADR.

Do you ask for the Artist Point menu when you are at Territory Lounge? We made it to the lounge on our last trip, but weren't hungry enough to eat. This time we are going to arrive hungry.

If you copied and pasted the address into your email program then you have to remove the space between the o and the m in the address.

The Christmas pictures look great. You were lucky to get such a nice picture of the big tree without the Photopass photographers set up there. When we were there the first week in December it seemed like there was always someone posing for pictures either in front of the big tree, on the bridge, or on the bench by those straw bears. I tried to get a picture of us next to one of those smaller trees, which were much prettier in person, but there were always people hanging around them.

I know it's subjective but what does everyone prefer? Woods view or courtyard view? This will be our 1st stay at the lodge and I can't decide which to book. Any thoughts?

Hey all, since the site for the calendar still has not updated as of this morning I contacted WL and got it for us January travelers. Not sure if able to attach PDF's, so took screen shots of it...hopefully these come through well enough:




Sadly, one of the things I was looking most forward to at WL...the Conversation with a MK Steam Train Specialist...is no longer going to be offered due to lack of interest I was told. Oh well, lots of other good things to enjoy at WL!

I was wondering why the Steam Train event wasn't offered while we were there. It's too bad that so few people were interested, I would have really liked to have attended.

Sorry if this has been asked before. What size are the bunk beds? Also are they both the same size or is the one on the bottom larger? We are now booked in a woods view room. We will have our two dgd's with us 7 & 10. I was just wondering if the bunk bed room would be better than 2 queens? I would be thankful for any input.Thanks everyone. Also a big thank you to Kook for all the work you do on this thread .

I believe that they are both standard twin-sized bunk beds. In your case, I would book the bunk. The kids will think they're fun and you'll have a bit more room.

We have been fortunate enough to stay in both Woods and Courtyard after booking Standard view. We preferred the Woods View rooms that we have had because they opened to the lobby. In our opinion, that made more of a difference in the room overall than the view from the balcony.

Our ultimate room choice would be courtyard view that opens to the lobby (which are known as Bear Face rooms) since that would have the best view from both ends of the room. There are relatively few of these rooms though.

Courtyard views are generally prettier since you can often better see the pool area and Bay lake, but Woods view might have a chance of seeing Wishes from the North wing and save a little bit of money. Woods views are generally quieter because you don't have to worry about noise from the pool in the afternoon. One odd thing to note is that there are some Courtyard view rooms in the South wing that overlook the Villas courtyard, so they don't face the lake and have more of a woods type view. Either way you'll be at a great resort and you can't go wrong.

My question is, can you view wishes from anywhere on the property other than balconies, that you can see wishes and if so, do they pipe in the music?

What is the fastest transportation to the Magic Kingdom, water craft or the bus?

How is the Food court at the resort? Do they serve Mickey Waffles?

Our flight is scheduled for 8:00pm on the day we leave. When we stayed at the Yacht Club, we were able to use Storm Along Bay for the day and then shower at the spa before we left for the airport. Would we be able to use the pool and shower before our flight?

I get about staying at a resort that I only saw briefly in 2008 when we ate at Whispering Canyon. I want to make sure I have all my info before we go.

Hello. I can answer some of the questions and hopefully others will offer more.

You can see Wishes from windows in the hallways of the North wing, but they don't pipe in the music. You can see the higher fireworks from the parking lot, or you can see some of it from the boat dock, but it isn't a direct view. We have had luck watching it from a boat on the way to or from MK.

As far as transit time, the bus to MK is usually quicker, but the boat is prettier and generally more fun. You also have the option of boating to CR to get on the monorail, which isn't the fastest option either but can be fun and allows you to connect to the TTC.

There isn't really a food court like the Moderate and value resorts have, but the Quick Service restaurant has good food in our opinion. The seating area is small, so it fills up during peak times. They do have Mickey Waffles available with Bananas, Strawberries, or Chocolate topping. There are two separate breakfast counters which offer different items so if you don't see them on the menu they are at the other counter (the one on the left as you walk in).

I am not sure about a public restroom area with showers. We have never noticed one, but perhaps there is one.

You will be able to use the showers at the Sturdy Branches Health Club.
