Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll be there tomorrow. Today is just a day away :-)

Have a great trip!!:thumbsup2 We would be there in a week with Nascargirl but change of plans because DDs golf team has a good chance of making state. First round regionals today and they are rockin it!:cool1:
We know it is not far though!

Have fun!! We leave tomorrow too, but are at the Yacht Club. We may run into you though since I always have to go and visit my favorite cast members there!!

I am almost embarrassed to make this post, because I have changed our resort for our upcoming trip four times...I must be losing my mind :/. DS12 and I have come full circle and finally surrendered to our first love...BWI CL, June 7-15...and that's final! Looking forward to seeing Jackie again, she made this past stay at Christmas truly magical and memorable!

Hope to see you in the Lounge! We'll be there June 5-9, after a split stay at WL. I'll be the confused-looking grandmother with three teenage girls and a 10 year old girl.

Just so you know, I don't really look like my avatar ;-)

I will be making my 4th visit to BW with fall, this time bringing both my DD's and a DGD. And that is my question, my Granddaughter is 18, will she be able to get into JellyRolls

Does anyone know if the Boardwalk has an "un"official website like the Polynesian(tikimanpages.com) & the Wilderness Lodge (wildernesslodgesite.com)??

Thanks!

Was wondering same thing there definitely isn't as much info out there on BWI as the other resorts!!

I've been working on revising the WL/VWL thread and it's all done. Next up - this thread! The new WL/VWL thread is posted HERE.

Thanks so much! Will you let us know here when the 'new' thread is ready! I'm so excited for our third BW stay but first BWV stay this October! :cool1:

We're at the Boardwalk in room 2003, as far from the lobby as one can get (except for the poor family next door in the 2001). It took me 940 steps round trip to get coffee from the Belle Vue Lounge. It's a nice view of the boardwalk, though. Totally unobstructed.

Too bad you have a long walk but the view probably makes up for it.

Enjoy your trip.

Here are some things I like to enjoy: (1) Playing checkers in the Belle Vue Lounge in the afternoon. DD (who is now 18) still enjoys this quiet, cool down time with me. We get a soda and laugh when she whips me three games in a row. It's a lot more fun to play with real checkers than to play on an iPad. (2) Checking out the display cases in the elevator landings on the various floors. This is more of a 'me' thing than interesting to children or husbands (at least mine), but I love to look at the collection of sea shell frames, photos, tea sets, etc. from "the day." (3) Go into SeaShore Sweets and look at the photos of all the Miss Americas. (4) The quiet/leisure pool on the BWI side. It is a quiet escape. The gardens over there are quite lovely, too. (5) In the evening, the performers along the Boardwalk are fun. (6) Only for those 21 and older, but Jelly Rolls is a terrific dueling piano bar. Drinks are expensive, but the entertainment is fantastic. I believe it is $12 to enter.

Thank you for this Sandi! These are just the sorts of things I was looking for. :thumbsup2

Hello All!

We just got back from yet another wonderful stay at BWI CL, and I sooo want to purchase the scent they use there for our home, to try and make the gaps between trips a little easier to handle ;)

I know it's been discussed on here before, but my searches are turning up blanks! Does anyone have any info on where I can purchase this scent and/or what the name of it is?

TIA!

:goodvibes
