CLOSED COMPLETE Disney Sketch Swap

Disney colors with balloons for accents/main theme? As long as there are Disney colors, balloons sound fun.

ETA- I have the blue paper with the Mickey Head balloons on it. The balloons are in Disney colors, so that paper would work.

Just clarify for those who weren't in the last sketch swap I had.
Where there is a border or a shape, you should use a border or a shape. However, they don't have to be the same as what is shown. If the sketch has the bumps; you can use torn, wave, zig zag, waterfall, etc. If the shape is that bracket box {I don't know what it is called} you can use whatever your Cricut or cutter system makes. You do not have to go buy something that makes the same one. Even stars, hearts or Mickey heads would be okay with me. If the sketch shows scroll work going down the middle, you can use the lace felt, bling sticker things, Primas or any other shape there.

As long as I can say, yes, what you made can be seen in the sketch, I'm good. Play around with it. Stick straight to the letter of sketch. It is your choice. Just have fun. No stressing is allowed. I promise I will help in anyway you need.

Sorry if this has been asked, but by bumps, do you mean the long black "Scalloped" looking stuff, Like in Sketch 3 and 4, or do you mean the larger bumps like in 4? I guess I thought the scallops were a border, but now I am second guessing. Thanks!

The scallops are a border, but you can use any border there. You are not limited to the "shape" used on the border. The scallops or bumpy border can be turned into a torn, zig zag, waterfall or lacy border if you want.

I haven't picked my topic for that group yet...Is Balloons too narrow?

I :lovestruc that idea :) I also made one more different embellishment, I like the colors on this one better, but, I like the idea of the castle. I'm sorry to be such a pain:eek: I just want to make sure everyone in the group likes the page. I promise not to be so needy on sketch 1B :goodvibes

I will chalk the pixie dust circle so it will stand out more. Also, I would be happy to send both the castle and the Mickey inside the pixie dust so each person can choose. What do y'all think?

Oh, I see! Thanks!

I think I like this embellishment the best. With it being the same colors that are already found on the page, it actually stands out more.

Because it is just the one embellishment, giving the swappers a choice would be okay. If was a row or string of embellishments, that wouldn't be good. We don't want to do to much work the page to make it usable for the swapper.

Wishing I was in that group.

Don't be afraid of being needy. Questions are good. :thumbsup2

It's my favorite too! I like that it is the same color scheme as the rest of the page. DD wants me to make one for her too :) Unless anyone objects I think I'll go with the Mickey & pixie dust embellishment :)

I am right there with your DD. Is there a group of mine that has a layout you would like to trade for?

I don't have that paper :sad1: Where'd you get it?!

Sure! I can probably get away with 2 sheets if you cut them into 6x12 (easier to mail). I could use it as the "plaid" on the sketch.

Jennifer I also have 2 sheets you could have. Just FYI-I started with a 6 x 10 for the "plaid" but, ended up liking 7 x 10 better :)

Love the LO.. I like the mickey head and pixie dust but have NO clue if I am in that group..too much stress w/ completing 4-H projects/books..... ERGH! My kids are so unlike me..they procrastinate... not me.. I'm a git'r'done and don't stress type of girl..

Anyway, I have a question... we can do 4x6 photos or do we have to do what is sketched on the page photo sizing-wise?? I was just gonna attach a post it note if I changed the photo size from like 3.5 x 5 to 4 x 6.... let me know... I want to try getting my Disney one done this week... I think I have a disney one...
I know I have Donald and Epcot....cause Epcot is giving me grief.. no inspiration for that design yet.... Donald have an idea but can't ever remember the sketch when I go to the store... LOL I remotely remembered the Disney one so think I have it covered...

So anyway, just answer my question found again in Red since I babbled!

They do need to stay the size in the layout. Making them larger will take away the effect of the behind paper.

I am in groups that have the 4x6 photos for the layouts. Do you want to trade me? I'm cool with that. :thumbsup2
