CLOSED COMPLETE Disney Sketch Swap

They do need to stay the size in the layout. Making them larger will take away the effect of the behind paper.

I am in groups that have the 4x6 photos for the layouts. Do you want to trade me? I'm cool with that. :thumbsup2

Nope, that's okay.. I just like to do 4x6 better....but I can work with the other just as easy.... no problem....

Sorry if this question is a repeat

For sketch 1: Can I use a patterned paper as the 12x12? the 5x12 strip will be patterned also and everything else solid colors. I haven't started yet and the 12x12 printed may not even look right. I just didn't want to travel down this path before I asked. If the 12x12 is not heavy enough, I will mount it on heavier cardstock.

I have my papers pulled for 2 groups and I am working on getting the other 2 groups pulled.

Thanks!

Pattern or solid on the sketch is just to show layers. You can use which ever you want in its place. :thumbsup2

For groups 4 and 5 can I do a general Disney theme even though there is already one in each of those groups. I bought my paper today but I can choose a character instead of using the general colors if I need to do so.

Group 3 I posted before I was doing a general fairies theme but I think you may have missed it.

Rebecca

Sorry about Group 3, I totally missed it.

More than one general theme in a group is fine. I just don't want to duplicate characters.

Thanks! I have papers planned for all 4 groups now. I just want to get my last ABC page planned and supplies pulled so I can place one order for supplies. Then I will get to work on this. (Hopefully tonight!)

This is my first sketch swap and I want to make sure that I am on the right track. This is the 2 page layout for Princess - General.

A few things:
*Nothing is glued down, so it is all a bit crooked
*The background cardstock is not the actual one I will use (I know they don't match each other). All of the light pink papers will match. I just finished my niece's baby book and have pretty much exhausted my pink supply.
*The portraits will be 3 different princesses and the actual silhouettes will all be the same color. I couldn't decide which one I liked and didn't want to cut them all until I had.
*The white paper is the exact size the photos will be.
*My scrap desk is a mess. :sad2: Sorry.

So...am I headed in the right direction? Which portrait colors do you like best - black, background paper color, bottom layer of the frame color, or some other color? What else do I need?

Thanks for you help! :flower3:

I like the colors on the right silhouette best.

It looks great!! You are totally on the right track. :thumbsup2

I'm not in that group, but I agree the one on the right...the colors seem to "pop" more!!!! Nice page overall!!!!

Beautiful!! I like the silhouette on the right too :)

ETA: I'm only in a couple groups, so I'm sure there'll be lots of layouts that I like--may I scraplift?

Thanks everyone. :goodvibes That was the silhouette I was leaning toward. Of course scraplifting is always allowed! Since this is a sketch swap, we are all scraplifting in a way. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I never thought of it that way, however, even looking at a sketch I have trouble choosing paper. :goodvibes
