Close Your Eyes And Blink Yourself to WDW.....Where would you Be?

It's early morning, and I'm standing at the bridge by Splash Mountain, feeling the cold mist of water (we're always there in December, when it's cool) and anticipating the Song of the South soundtrack before we walk through the line with no wait (early morning December, remember?:0)

Drifting through the water in Splash Mountain, with the anticipation of the upcoming drop making me antsy. :hyper:

WoW, what cool answers everyone!! It is so neat to see how WDW impacts people in different ways. One thing that does seem to be a common thread is the magical excitement that we all have when we open our eyes after closing them.

I got the idea of posing this question after this past weekend when I took my 3 youngest children to see a live play of the Wizard of Oz. The 5 year old leaned over in the middle of it and said.."Mommy lets close our eyes and click our heels and we cna be at Disney NOW!!" (we are doing the single digit dance as I type this. It got me thinking, if we could where would we all end up....

Here are my kids responses...

5 year old precocious DD -"I would be hugging Cinderella in the Castle" (said with the most forlorn look of anticipation, she has NO IDEA we have a breakfast booked)

12 year old extremely analytical DD - "I would be in Japan watching the little kids do acrobatics and hope I have enough $ to pick a pearl and make a necklace this trip..Mom do you have any chores I can do to earn money in the next 9 days..oh yeah can I babysit..can I??? PLEASE?????" (said in one extremely long run on sentence, what can I say, she never hushes)

12 year old party in a box DS - "I would be eating a huge hamburger and drinking a large chocolate shake with fries at the Sci-Fi, screaming with everyone when the guy throws that spear" (this one eats, sleeps, walks & then dreams somemore about eating!!!! must be his age)

17 year old "I'm graduating in May " DS - "I would be on Buzz Lightyear, trying to hit that dumb dot on the wall that can get you all those points and trying to beat Dad's score! This is MY TRIP to beat him" (He and his Dad love to compete, but secretly ask this kid what his favorite meal is and he will say Cinderella's Royal table, he says its the stuffed french toast, but we all know it is the "hot princesses", I am telling his gf..:Pinkbounc )

Thank for playing this little game, I am having a blast reading some of yours! Hope you enjoy it as well!

I guess because I have not been on it in so long. I miss the carousel of progress. Sorry for any typos but my eyes are still closed. I don't want to come home from this trip just yet.

I'm like many other posters. Entering MK, walking up Main St. and seeing the castle. It means we are really here. So many emotions, joy, aniticipation, and togetherness. Such an overwhelming feeling.

Though we love everything about WDW, we probably feel that we've "arrived" when we see the castle, especially from the end of main street.

Watching my son meet Buzz, Woody and Jessie at MGM!!

Thanks for the reminder of a great memory!!:D

I'd have to say driving onto the property and seeing all those welcome to Disney signs.
