Clermont Holiday Inn

Anyone ever stay here? Clermont Holiday Inn. Looks relatively new and I have enough points with their Priority Club to stay 4 nights!!

I have friends that are CMs that live in Clermont that tell me the drive is not bad at all but looking for someone that has actually stayed there to see if it is a decent place.

I have not stayed there, but.. It is fairly new and tropical looking from the outside. Could you possible use your points at the new(er) Holiday Inn Express near Summer Bay? I think it would be a little closer to WdW and I do know it is newer than the Holiday Inn at Clermont. Whatever you do.. Steer clear of the Ramada there... It was the worst place I have ever stayed.. but that is another long long story!

I'll check and see how many points the one you mentioned takes each nite. The Clermont one is 10,000 points a nite - the Sunspree in LBV is closer to 25,000 points a nite. BIG difference when you only have 42.000 points in your account.

Good grief is that Ramada still around?? Is that the ANCIENT one off Hwy 27?? I remember staying there about 25 years ago on family vacations... It was run down THEN!

It looks to me like the one near( in) Summer bay is also 10000 points per night! I'd choose that one since you are closer to the parks and you also get to use the "resort " facilities of Summer Bay Resort. They are both listed at Clermont.. so maybe you have already checked for this one, "West of theme parks" It is located on 192, the one farther away is located on 27. Either would be ok.. but I know that Summer bay is nice! And yes, the Ramada is ancient. We stayed there one night before a WDW stay.. boy it made WDW hotels seem like palaces!!!
