Clearwater / Indian Rocks Beach Area (many pix)

Just returned from four grueling days in The World, followed by three at the beach, recuperating and meeting another forum regular (now, WHO would that be???). Following are a few shots of various beach-area subjects, taken over the three days we were there:

Jeff, I was pretty certain that that was "your" project. I thought the bridge sweeping overhead added a nice element to the scene, and figured I'd toss it out there and see if the building was, indeed, the one you were working on.

Thanks to you all for your kind comments. I give a lot of credit to having great camera gear (hear that, Nikon?) and a beautiful locale in which to photograph. The rest is mainly the "blind hog and acorn" scenario.

we were at Indian Rocks last night for dinner and sunset. I like taking shots of the sunset through the sea oats as well.

Where did you dine, if you don't mind me asking? We had dinner at Crabby Bill's last Saturday night, and it was Dee-Licious. Mrs. YEKCIM and I split a shrimp platter and it was STILL almost more than we could eat!

our friends have a condo at Indian Rocks, so we walked to a place called Lana's Friendly Tavern, which I think is technically Redington... it all runs together. tuesdays and thursdays are all you can eat snow crab legs, and they bring mounds of them to the table as long as you're there. it's VERY casual, and always a fun mix of people.

Will have to try that, next time we are down. Our family favorites are Shells and Crabby Bills, with PJ's thrown in just because we like the bird!
