CLEAN SWEEP---suggestions??

Great tips! I do this too often since I still have a hard time gettting rid of stuff. I feel like I just move stuff from one place to another. NOw Dh's stuff I have no problem with. :rotfl2:

Dh (roped him into helping) and I started again 2 weeks ago. This time we are making a home for everything and everything else is out. It is babysteps but the office/pantry looks much better. Now to finish with the closets.

Our church has a yard sale every August. I start in May or June cleaning out closets and rooms. If I have not used it in the past year or I don't absolutely love it anymore-- it goes in the yard sale.

There is a children's consignment sale twice a year which 'forces' me to go through DD's clothes and toys. I feels good to get the check from that-- in Sept I ended up with close to $200 which goes into our vacation fund :cool1:

When we moved to this house I refused to bring anything that we did not need. We had a huge yard sale.

I bet that Flylady has a section on her website about this. www.flylady.net

Here's something about clutter control http://flylady.net/pages/FLYingLessons_Declutter.asp

Flylady and me do not get along. :teeth:

Try as I might I have been unable to do anything of hers.

Thanks for the tips--about to tape up a box and start in the girls room. I'm thinking of subject areas--like clothes..mine and theirs. :teeth:
