From San Jose you will go through Gilroy, get on the Pacheco Pass then hit
I-5 straight to Anaheim. Yes almost the same once you hit 5. And LA is Down from San Jose it's UP going home

Thanks for the directions! Btw, I completely forgot that I will have to stop by the LA Convention Center to get DH at the E3 Expo...are the directions pretty much the same and any tips for avoiding LA traffic once in the vicinity? Leofoenget...are you a N.Cal local?

Yes I'm in Santa Clara. Do you mean the Anaheim Convention center? It's across the street from DL

According to the site http://www.e3expo.com/ it's the Los Angeles Convention Center.
