I just saw that Michael's has these on sale 5/$1. That's SO cheap -- I'm looking for do-able ideas for GS daycamp next summer.

Please help!

I've seen where you could make "people" out of them...
probably would need 4 or 5 for that...
my DD made at camp one year a bell...out of one of the smaller ones...

or just let the girls decorate them

Funny -- I looked at the Michael's site & didn't see some of these projects -- 2 of them would be PERFECT for day camp!

Thanks again everyone,
Brenda

you could
-paint faces on the pots, put dirt and grass seeds in them, and then wait for the grass to grwo. when it does, the "person" will have hair!
-make scarecrows or soldiers by gluing two pots together with the wide open ends gued together. divide the top pot up with paint to make a hat and face, the midsection is the torso, and the bottom third is the legs. (this is kinda confusing)
-paint the pots with decrative paint, then cut a lid out of cardboard or use a clay saucer and decorate the top with tiny silk flowers. you can keep whatever you want in there: paperclips, treasures, candy...

the possiblities are endless...just stick whatever round object you can find that will fit in the mouth of the pot...maybe a clock head! anyways, hope this helps!
