I suffer from very mild clausterphobia but if my attention is diverted to something else, I am fine. (Mind over matter!)

So tell me, would the ToT be bad? I have heard that ToT and Mission Space are NOT good choices but I have been in the Haunted Mansion and Star Tours with no problems. In fact, the only thing I can think of right now that I REFUSE to go on is the Ferris Wheel (which of course is not an option here). I just hate to be "trapped". That is another issue entirely of course.

Monorail is okay: I can see out.
High ceiling are good in ANY closed room: I'm fine.
Hate elevators....but like I said, if my attention was on something other than the suffocation and the walls closing in on me, I'm fine...just fine. (just pass me another beer!)

So, which attractions would you DEFINITELY rule out for me??

Thanks!

I don't think TOT would be a good idea...after all if you hate elevators, the whole premise is a falling elevator, on the other hand you are not closed in as I distinctly remember looking up to see if I could see the workings of the ride. Good luck either way!!

I'm also clausterphobic and would never ride ToT. Did it once when I was younger and the thought again drives me kinda crazy. I also highly reccomend getting a fast past for Space Mt. I don't know if you've done it yet but there would be no way that I could wait on a long line and be inside that attraction. Talk about walls closin in.

I'm a little claustrophobic, but I can't say I've had problems with any attractions at WDW(haven't been on MS, and am concerned about that one). TOT doesn't bother me at all. The "elevator" is really huge compared to a real elevator(like probably 5 times bigger), and the attraction is verrry cool. Good luck with your trip:D

I didn't have a problem with TOT or the Monorail. I had a huge panic attack waiting for ITTBAB. The holding area is (or was) under the tree of life. I found the ceiling low, and it got VERY crowded. My suggestion is to go right before the show starts and not wait at all before it starts.

I am not overly fond of small or tight spaces but was OK on ToT and rode Mission Space. On MS, I think it was OK because my attention was diverted by wondering what was going to happen and looking at the buttons on the display in front of me. Plus we were all nervously joking around before the ride started. I do get panicky when there are alot of people pushed into a small space.
