Classic Disney [2003 Box Set] CD??

I saw this CD on the internet and was really excited to find it! It has five separate discs and features most of the classics from the Disney movies... To those of you who may already own or know about the discs-- I was wondering if the songs are exactly the same as they are in the movies? Do the same singers perform in the songs? Are the vocal comments during the songs made? (ex: "Belle" in Beauty & the Beast when the villagers make comments to her...is this talking part of the song?) I guess my main question is whether the songs on the "Classic Disney" CD are exactly the way they are heard in the movies they are in. Thanks!

I've got the box set, and the songs are directly from the soundtracks.

I just popped "Belle" in and took a listen- it's the complete version from the movie- villagers, spoken parts and everything!

I think I have the set you are talking about. But I bought it on Amazon 2 or 3 years ago for around $30 for myself and to give as gifts. It's like 125 songs on 5 discs, right? I'm a little confused by the "2003" in your question, but my 5 disc set is called Classic Disney. The latest songs on my set are from around the Hercules time. Maybe they've added some for the 2003 version, although I though they had quit updating the Classic Disney line of cd's.

Anyway - most of the songs are just like in the movies, although some lengthy dialogue parts may be cut out. But, BUY IT!! If it is the set I have, you won't regret it. I listen to those discs all the time, and from them I learned about lots of songs (and movies, cartoons, etc.) that I never knew about. It is a wonderful set, and is a great bargain for any Disney fan at $30 or $40. And even though I sound like a commercial, no, I don't sell these .

Taking a look at the box, my set's dated 1999... but it is the complete 5 CD "Classic Disney" set.

The cover of the box features Mickey at a grand piano, and says "60 Years of Musical Magic."
