I’m in a cohort for my PhD. We are close group. They all have been such a supportive group to work with. Today as I left class they all were telling me to have a great time on our trip in a few days.

We always bring snacks to class and I would love to bring something special back from Disneyland. It would need to be able to feed 20 people and I have to fly it with me back to Iowa. Any ideas?

If not a treat maybe something else for each person... but I also can’t go broke doing it lol

My office does something similar when ever we go on vacation. Last year a coworker and I did a trip to DL and we brought back the monorail and garbage can highlighters. They were pretty fun and useful in an office setting, maybe a studying setting too? Another time I brought back the Disney pieces of eight. Both were affordable options for the 13 people I was buying for.

For food maybe there is something at Bing Bongs? I haven’t been yet but from what I’ve seen there is a lot to choose from.

Good luck! I’ll be on the hunt for something too.

Goto the disney candy shops. They have lots of Disney Candy that you can bring back and share.

Agree about shopping at the Candy Kitchen and Candy Palace. When we need treats for a large group, we buy DL candy, asking specifically what was made fresh on site that day. The English Toffee is always a huge hit. When people find out that the candy was made fresh at DL, they get excited. :) And you can show YouTube videos of the candy being made!

I love the Pieces of Eight too! I have seen them in numerous stores in the parks and at World of Disney. They are little pieces of metal in Disney shapes with cute sayings on them.

I have brought back bunches of the Mickey shaped lollipops to share

Treats from Pooh's Corner

Remember, not everyone has the same passion for DL....so I might caution about random trinkets for a group. If you are buying specifically for a DL fan, different story

Upside to a treat is that even if they don't appreciate its significance being from DL, at least they can eat it!

I've also brought back treats from the Candy Palace for my colleagues. The easiest to share have been the English Toffee and Nuttles. As others have said, I didn't bring back something specifically DL because not everyone in the group is into Disney, but most everyone likes chocolate! The candy also travels really well (I recently carried three bags of the English Toffee with me in my carry on).

The peanut brittle and English toffee are some of the best candies I've ever had. Buy a few bags at the candy ships and just share it all.
