class art project?

I am looking for an art project for my son's third grade class to complete and submit to the annual silent auction that our school holds. In the past, we have painted a chair, each child having a small area and decorating it as he/she desires. The chairs have sold well but now so many other classes are doing it I thought I would look for a fresh idea. It needs to be something that 20 children can participate in and that some kind parent would want to purchase . Any great ideas out there? Thanks in advance!

How about painting a toy chest. If you have a parent who is able to make it that will save alot of money. Good quality toy chests are expensive these days.
