I was a little confused on the whole 30 days claiming thing, so I emailed DisneyPhotoPass.com. Here was their reply:

Thank you for your recent visit to DisneyPhotoPass.com.

Photos must be claimed within 30 days from when the photos were taken.
Photos not claimed within 30 days from which they were taken will no
longer be available. Once photos are claimed and associated to a
DisneyPhotoPass.com account, they will be available for viewing, sharing
and purchasing for 30 days from the date of claiming, after which the
photos will be permanently deleted from your account.

To view the expiration date of a photo in your Photo Bin, click to
enlarge the photo. Beneath the enlarged photo, the expiration date will
appear.

For more information, please visit DisneyPhotoPass.com and click "Help."

Sincerely,

Laura

Am I understanding that if you share a photopass account the expiration date is 30 days from the first time the photos are viewed?

I am so confused!

I am organizing a photopass share and I hope it works out!

Thanks for the info.

They will expire 30 days from the day you load them into your account.

So if you wait until day 29 after the first picture was taken to load them into your account and look at them then you have 30 days from that day to purchase.

So you can go for 60 days doing it that way.

If you have a few week date spread on your photopass share like we do. The first people to get back can wait a week or two to add their pictures so not much time elapses before the rest get back to add their pictures (which the later people can do as soon as they get back).

For the record they do go past 30 days, or atleast mine did in the past. Last year my ones from October were still there in December...maybe they were being lazy...

Don't rely on this, though. I've had some that were there for months, they kept "extending" so you can place an order.... But I've had others that were just gone in 30 days, both before and after I've had some last longer.

I read it like Catrinabeach did too. As long as it is claimed by 30 days from the first day, then a new clock of 30 days is set for when it is "removed" from the account.

So, so my first day is 7/12,

I have until 8/11 to claim it and I have until 9/10 to purchase it.

If I claim it on 7/27, then I have to purchase it by 8/26.
