Trying to decide if I should splurge for CL at BWI. There are 2 adults and 2 kids 9 and 11. Does anyone know if Disney comes out with discounts, does that usually include discounts for club level or is it normally the standard rooms that get discounts.

The discounts are used to fill empty rooms. Since CL rooms are among the most expensive rooms on property they are often among the discounts.

By the way, we stayed at BWI in a discounted room last week. We enjoyed the lounge.

We have stayed in discounted CL rooms at BWI and BC! as CoolPool stated they are trying to fill empty rooms.

Careful with the splurge - it might be hard to ever go back to a regular room!
Breakfast in the lounge at BWI before walking to Epcot or DHS is the easiest AM at WDW ever. Such a happy start to the day!

Have fun planning!:cool1:

We've stayed CL at BWI, AKL, and Poly, and out of the three the only one that wasn't booked through a Disney discount was AKL (we used AAA for that one). The regular, non-CL AKL savanna view rooms don't seem to be included in discount offers anymore--I guess Disney doesn't have any trouble filling those rooms at rack rate.

Exactly :thumbsup2

Over the years, we've stayed CL at all of the deluxes (Except the Poly) at a discount of between 25-40% off rack rates (AP discounts). If we can't get the discount, we generally do not stay at that particular resort.
