i have been looking for it the last 20 minutes and can't find it.
wanted to show one of the homies here what it looked like compared to the nachos you showed.

Sorry Mac!

I've been spending the afternoon and evening installing Rubbermaid Closet organizer. I'm happy to see that you found Akdar's picture thanks to KY07!

Here's a picture of Margaritaville's wings:

Not fair, Paster!!! I'm starving now!! Off topic, but I found a recipe for the wing sauce they use. I made a batch up last night and it's pretty spot on. Next time I will add another Habanero, as I thought it could have been a little spicier. ;)

HABANERO HONEY SAUCE
1 cup water
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup molasses
1 habanero pepper, minced
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon hickory liquid smoke
1/3 cup white vinegar

Combine everything but the vinegar, bring to a boil, then simmer for an hour until it reduces by about half. Take it off the heat and add the vinegar, stir and cover until ready to use. GOOD STUFF!!!

The dipping sauce is :

1 (8 ounce) bottle Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
1/4 cup mango juice
1/2 jalapeno, minced

Mix together and chill. Slice up some cucumbers and you're good to go!!:thumbsup2

Wow! Thanks for the recipe! Normally, for home made wings, I use Buffalo Wild Wings sauce(Spicy Garlic and Carribean Jerk). But I'm going to try making this sauce. Thanks again!

Thanks for bumping this. I love this thread!

We ate at Margaritaville just this past week. They have a Caribbean Chicken Salad that is perfect on a hot day.

You're welcome! I've never had that salad before. I might have to try it on my next trip.

This will absolutely not make me popular, but I think Margaritaville is WAY overrated. Oh yeah. I said that out loud. :scared1:

We love to go there for drinks and hear the bands. However, I find the food is mediocre at best. That is, when I don't get sick from eating it. Sadly, two separate occasions; two separate meals. Hubby didn't eat. I did. Me: sick as a dog. Twice. Him: fine. Here's a tip: do not order the Cheeseburger in Paradise anything less than medium well. Ordering it medium was one mistake. The Volcano Nachos are OK, but the nachos at the Bula Bar or The Beach Club are also very good; M-ville does not hold the market on nachos on the Uni complex.

NBA City really does have good food. It may not have the atmosphere of M-ville, but the food wins by miles, in my book anyway. HRC used to have an awesome french dip, and I was disappointed when they took it off the menu. However, I think NBA City has one that beats the old HRC's. Also, they make very good pasta there. Their lasagne is melt-in-your-mouth good.

Not with me cause the only thing I like at Margarittaville is the nachos and drinks and never tried NBA City but will this year :thumbsup2

I agree with you on this one!! On our trip last week, we ate at Margaritaville, Hard Rock and NASCAR Grille twice (because it was the least busy!!). I enjoyed Margaritaville the least. I had a steak that was overcooked and DBF had grilled chicken that was also very dry. Hard Rock Cafe was hands down the best meal we had at CityWalk. My steak there was cooked perfectly and their nachos were yummy as well! The service was also much better at HRC than Margaritaville.

HRC was too loud for my then 12 year old. It was kinda loud for me too.

NBA City was surprisingly good. Not too loud, food was good and we hit it during happy hour and got a discount on our beer.

We haven't tried the others yet and DH says we aren't going back until 2011. Boo Hoo.

Hard Rock is our fave. DH and I always stop in when we are at the parks and resorts. :thumbsup2

We did NBA, Nascar and Bubba's....the winner for us was Nascar. NBA, son had mac n cheese that came on a plate with no sides, no color to it at all---it really looked plain (and gross to me), lol $6.95 Hubby had a maple glazed pork chop that he said was ok--came with potatoes and veggie and I had a bleu cheese chicken pasta that was ok too....but nothing to write home about. And a salad to any dish was $4.95 on top of the original price. Place was empty, service was mediocre at best.

Bubba's was good----loud, busy for a Friday night. I had fried shrimp, fries---son had burger, fries and hubby had chicken. Drinks in take home glasses (lemonade with flavoring) was $7.95. Service was good.

Nascar was very good for us. We are not fancy eaters and were looking for something plainish.....we both had grilled chicken breast, sweet potato casserole (could have been a dessert itself) and broccoli. Son had mac n cheese and fries. Desserts were EXCELLENT. Fried cheesecake with haagen daaz ice cream, strawberry sauce and whipped cream...and a molten tire which was a chocolate cake, chocolate sauce ice cream and whipped cream. Service was OUTSTANDING! Never had to ask for a refill, he was just automatically there.

Next time Margaritaville....

And...isn't it ALL good when you dont have to cook it or clean up afterwards?:lmao:

Maybe i look at things differently, but i do not go to Margaritaville or Bubba Gump to eat steak. They are not a steak house. I go to these places for what made them famous. Hard Rock has a wide variety but they tend to do better with ribs IMO.

We ate a NBA once and most impressed with the dessert. The food was good but the dessert was really good. :cool2:

I think that Margaritaville is your best bet. A little something for everyone but it can get extremely loud. Stay away from the bar area. It is one of the loudest areas in the restaurant.
We will only have time for one dinner at city walk and can not decide which rest to pick. Looking at NBA, Margaritaville, pastorme, or any other, I like shrimp and crab legs, wife likes roast and chicken, kids like pasta, any help would be great
