City Mini or City Mini GT

I'm getting ready to make my rental for our upcoming trip. DD is almost 3 yr old and around 37-38in tall. Is there any benefit to the GT in the parks aside from the height? She might have more room to lay down and be comfortable in the GT if it's a little bigger. The price difference isn't that much to sway me either way, so was hoping for some experienced advice!

Oh yes, I did read that. We're all of average height, so I'm not sure.

Not sure on the newest model, but I know on the model of mini (2012) that was out when I bought my GT, the reason I went with the GT in addition to the adjustable handle was that the wheels on the Mini were hard rubber. The GT had a single forever air wheel. So it runs better on different terrain asphalt, dirt, etc. It's not a true jogging stroller, but closer to a jogger.

If my daughter didn't need the GT for height, I would definitely go with the City Mini. They seem to fold smaller and look smaller overall.

When I bought my city mini, the weight difference made my choice. The mini weighs 16 lbs and the gt weighs 21 lbs. While 5 lbs doesn't seem like a lot it makes a huge difference when you've got a kid on one hip and the stroller in your other hand.

I *think* the last time we rented a stroller, we were given the GT by accident, and DH didn't like it because the wheels made it a bit wider, and he felt like he was going to take out someones ankles... We prefer the Mini, but we also have small kids...
