We just purchased a Baby Jogger city mini double stroller (as we intend to travel every year for 2 weeks at a time for a few years so cheeper than renting) for my 20 month old twins, I am a but concerned however because they seem to almost fill the seats already (they are quite tall). I am worried they will only be comfortable for say one or two years and then not be able to use it.

I can return it but then don't know what we would do for a stroller in say 3 or 4 years time when they are 4/5/6.

I know they seem to be the most popular rental stroller so I don't know if I am just worrying fr nothing and they will be comfortable in them for years?

Sorry for the long post. Hope that makes sense and someone can advise on their experiences with them!

Thanks!!

We rented a Citi Mini double in Oct. Our DD were 2 1/2 and 5 1/2. They are both tall for their age. They were both perfectly comfy in it.

Are you only going to be using this for vacations? Bc if so, for us we rather rent annually then buy. But if you are going to use it all year round I think you will get a lot of use out of it. It's a great stroller.

We thought about renting a single since ODD is 5 but still decided on a double. I think we would do the same next year too even when ODD will be 6. It was just nice to have a place to put stuff without having to stuff it underneath (My only complaint about this stroller is the storage).

Is it the regular city mini or the GT? I believe the GT has a taller height limit. My 6 year old is 44 inches and fit fine in the GT on our last trip. It's a little heavier than the regular city mini but would last you longer

We have city mini double for my very tall 4 1/2 year old DS and almost 2 year old DD. We use it all the time and love it. Zoo, walks, vacations, etc. However, my 4 1/2 year old is starting to get too tall for it. I rented a GT on our Disney trip a few weeks ago actually because I thought my son would be too uncomfortable in our regular city mini for long periods of time. He did fit better in the GT, BUT the GT is huge and heavy, much heavier than the regular city mini. I'm glad I don't have to lug it around at home. It was nice for a long vacation, but he hardly spent any time in the stroller this trip. He did get tired of walking and wanted to sit every once in a while, but I think the regular city mini would have sufficed for our needs. He is on the verge of completely outgrowing it, but I think he's also on the verge of outgrowing a need for a stroller anyway. All that to say, I think you will get plenty of use out of your purchase for 3-4 years. It's a great stroller!

We have a double City Mini. My 6 year old still rides fairly comfortably in it on occasion. Her legs are now a little too long, but it works if she is tired. She doesn't use a stroller much these days anyway.

We rented one a few years ago when my kids were 6 and 7. They both fit comfortably. However, my kids are small (short and skinny). I don't think they would have fit in it again the next year.
