After reviewing my options, I've almost decided to stay at KoA in July. My DH, however, doesn't want to have to drive to Disney. He's a park and ride buses guy.

I noticed that there is a city bus that goes from KoA,but it doesn't specify where to.

Does it go to Disney or anywhere near? Is it legal to ride it to somewhere to take a shuttle in?

It's Lynx Link 56, which goes to the Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC). From there, you can ride Disney monorails to MK & Epcot, & buses to DHS & DAK.

There's nothing sketchy about riding Disney transportation if you arrive by public transit or an off property hotel shuttle. That's one of the reasons they're provided. All WDW buses, watercraft, and monorails are free and available to anyone.

Link 56 currently runs every 30 minutes until about 11 p.m. It looks like the trip from KOA to TTC takes about 40 minutes.

If you decide you are going to use it, be sure to go to golynx.com several weeks before your trip to order weekly bus passes. You can also view the schedule & map there.

Thank you for the info!

I think my DH is nervous about driving his new truck around Orlando. So, this helps a ton!
