Citricos vs Narcoossee's: Which would you rather/why?

Can everyone give me their opinions and reasons on why you would pick one over the other, thanks!

Narcoossee's has a reputation for being more romantic although I think that part is a bit overrated. The lighting may be dimmer but the noise level seems higher (due to the high ceilings and angles and hard materials in the building). But, if you get a table along the window, watching the MK fireworks from your own table has a nice bit of magic.

As for the food, Citrico's wins *very* easily. Just about the best food available on Disney property. On par with California Grill (and I can't judge it against V&A as I haven't had a chance to dine there...yet)

I do not find Narcoosees romantic; our last two visits have been as noisy as a diner. The views at a window table can be nice and I think that a family dining with young children would prefer it over Citricos because of these views and the more casual feel to the place.

Citricos has better food but there's nothing of interest in the restaurant other than really good food. While it's not in the same league with V&A and some of the other restaurants not on the dining plan, it's one of the best of Disney's signatures.

If you are looking for fresher fare and seafood, Narcoossees wins hands down. If you prefer warmer, richer flavors, the Tuscan influence of Citricos will be more to your liking. They are 2 of our top 3 (CG being the other) and we dine at each 3-4 times annually. We have found the service consistently better at Narcoossees as CG seems to have slipped lately in that category. You really cannot go totally wrong in oru eyes with any of them though.

We prefer Citricos... unexpected surprise on our visit... we were seated near the back wall of windows and were able to enjoy some of the Wishes fireworks We could also keep an eye on the pastry kitchen as the desserts were being prepared.

We have eaten at both. I love the food at both places, my husband said he likes the food better at Narcoosee's. Look at the menu and see which food you rather have.

Citricos has a more upscale feel, but Narcoossees has a great view. Both have good food. I get the filet at both, yum! Narcoossees has the lobster though which DH really likes

I prefer narcoossees because I love the lobster and just like the themeing better. Citricos, as mentioned upthread doesn't offer much besides the food. Maybe comfier chairs, lol. I don't think you can go wrong with either one, but if I had to choose only one, for us, it's narcoosees.

I think its just a personal preference kind of thing: we like the seafood focus of narcoossees, as well as the location, the somewhat more casual atmosphere, the almond cheesecake dessert, lol......the lobster....did I mention the lobster?!

Citricos has good food and great service, but there was just something about it that we didn't like (I agree with a PP who compared it to Cali Grille- but we far prefer Cali to here)

Narcoosee's also has good food (and normally) good service. It does feel alittle more laid back, however. It is a must do for us!

We had a phenomenal meal and experience at Citrico's this past November (reviews and pics in my link) so on our next trip we are going to do that again and then try Narcoossee's, I have read some great reviews for it

Narcoosees is one of my favorite locations on-property! It is absolutely delicious. Plus, make the reservations later and you can go out on the deck for a great view of the fireworks.

I will say that you can't lose - both are wonderful restaurants!

Citricos would be my pick. I like them both. Citricos is different something you can't get everywhere. Narcoosees is very good, but its just your common seafood steak place.

Agreed on all fronts.

Definitely go with Citricos. Check out my review in the link in my signature. There is also a Narcoossee's review - it's just not on the same level with the other signatures.

Citricos. Again, ditto on Pakey's comment.
We enjoyed Narcoosee's, but felt that the food and ambiance was better at Citricos. Service was about equal. Many people recommend the lobster at Narcoosee's. We go to Maine quite often so don't find the lobster at Narcoosee's exceptional. Other entrees were quite good there, but we do give the food edge to Citricos.

I prefer Citricos.

I have had one wonderful meal & one meh meal at Narcoossees. I am probably the only one who would say if you go to Narcoossees DON'T get the Lobster. They totally killed it last time we ate there. In retrospect, we should have sent it back. I'm not ready to write Narcoossees off completely, but I would order anything but the lobster next time. DH, however, will probably never want to return.

Narcoossees is good to try at least once. We go every few years.
If you want lobster, go to Blue Zoo.

The better place is Narcooses imo. Steak and lobster...nuff said. In addition I believe that the service is better and the location and view cannot be compared, Narcosses wins at every instance!!
